Was the wail and horn not working?

NoobyMcNoob The wail works perfectly, it just was so loud that I was afraid to let it go longer. I need to re-record a better clip. I’m pretty sure the NYPD spec ones didn’t have a horn, I’ve only seen one oddball unit on KZbin that had a horn. Back in the day NYPD mostly just used the momentary yelp

@@WK-fk8mt I happen to have one that has a broken wail. Any ideas what might be causing it? Also where do I get a replacement button, mine is missing. Does any button that fits in the hole work?

@@WK-fk8mtnothing wrong with giving it a try with the toggle switch to AH mode anyway. Worst the worst it does nothing. The FDNY spec PA300s had the Hilo on the dial, just were silent for some dumb reason when flipped over to it. Never understood why
