Sleeping in the 🚆 is not illegal unless the person is occupying more than one seat. People sleep on the 🚆 for a variety of reasons. The homeless do it because they have no home and they feel that the shelters are more dangerous. Some people do it because they work two or three jobs and they don't get enough sleep, so they take naps while traveling. Also you have people who go to bars and clubs at 🌃 and may have had a little too much to drink.It is more dangerous for those people to walk home in their inebriated state. Those people will sleep for a couple of hours until they are sober. Then you have the people who doze off unintentionally. I had one co-worker who lost the keys to his place and he spent all 🌃 on the 🚆 until his roommate arrived home from work and let him in.

1:40 a little too aggressive? It’s disgusting? What’s disgusting is following someone to their home and killing them. What’s disgusting is pushing someone in front of an oncoming train. What’s disgusting is randomly punching someone in the face. What’s disgusting is stabbing someone out of nowhere. What’s disgusting is killing someone while they’re sleep on the train. Stabbing someone on a train platform. I think you catch my drift. Nobody’s saying we have to be cruel but their behavior has been violent, deadly and absolutely unacceptable. We can’t be too worried about whether or not it becomes “too” aggressive when the homeless and unhinged have been literally killing people. Get these people out of the transit system. Put them in the shelters and institutions and figure it out from there. They’re doing too much.

They need to change laws about minimum income requirements. The cap should be 2x. I'm sure requirements of making 3x the rent has caused a lot of unnecessary homelessness. They also need to make laws against raising the rent by hundreds every year while wages stay the same. I am actual hard working person. I have two jobs and work 63 hours a week but when it comes to moving time I'm always worried about meeting requirements. No one that is willing to work and working full time or more should be homeless. The number one factor in homelessness though is addiction which I also don't really understand because there are plenty of people with addictions who do maintain a home and employment but perhaps getting the people who want help clean would help them get s job.

Well for the ones who find it disgusting. Find a homeless person and take them home, and help them. That’s what California is suggesting. They’re asking resident to open their homes up to the homeless people. If they have a spare room, give it to a homeless person. 😮. So, why not, the naysayers help them. The train, is not a home, it’s not a bathroom. It’s for people to get to work, it’s for them, to get from point A, to point B. And they shouldn’t have to feel unsafe, or possibly Die getting there. And I’m happy that, they’re finally doing something about it! They’re opening up more housing, so now they’re is more options for them to go to. They just might not like the requirements.

They need to be kicked off the train. They refuse to go to shelters, they refuse to stop using drugs. I work in this field and I know for a fact that these people like their life just the way it is. Drugging and robbing people to support their addiction. Get them off the train period. Let the housing coalation take them home to their house, since they care so much.

People think that these homeless people are living in the subway system because there is no place to go. The city provides shelters for homeless. These people choose to live in the subways. They're not being thrown out into the cold.

Let the homeless find SERVICES that are designed to tackle the social safety net that they were stupid enough to tumble through. Let’s stop treating adults as if they are irresponsible CHILDREN. Life is harsh when you are sitting on your ass in a cardboard box. Even “psyche beds” cost the taxpayer. This isn’t fair to the tax paying society in the long run. Just addressing the “elephant in the chat…”

In Giuliani's NY that man would be in jail. He went after the minor offenders, we need a return to those days, we need a return to locking up people who don’t pay their fares, this is why they had to keep raising fares! Cause they let them do whatever they want! The bronx is even worse, they let people get on the buses without paying!

It’s so logical. The train system is not housing. It’s also logical that the homeless did something (or did not do something) to find themselves there. Let’s ALL be homeless then…. You can’t whine about the homeless and do NOTHING to solve the problem. There is also a such thing as self accountability. If we are referring to the mentally ill, then fine, they STILL do not belong on the subway system. Please face FACTS.

@Bitchslapper316
@Bitchslapper316 2 жыл бұрын
He could order whatever he wanted, doesn't mean it will happen. The mayor has to carry out those orders and he never did. Cuomo and DeBlasio hated one another and often tried to obstruct the work of the other. That's why a few years ago you had random NY state police giving people parking tickets in NYC. That's never been a thing because the NYPD has 37,000 uniformed officers and is supposed to handle all the issues within the city.
