The only reason Verdugo is still playing is that is a really good left fielder. The question for Cashman/Boone : Is the Martian's offense so much better that we should risk the great defense that Verdugo brings?

Tough pill to swallow but Yankees should have sold Soto at deadline. As usual Yankees will disappoint to finish season And Soto will walk because hals too cheap. Team needs wholesale changes that aren't likely to come

idk how Holmes was a all star he looked good early and fell off after the break 11 blown saves whatever it is he can't close anymore. most of the games we could have won and we wouldn't be in this tight race with the O's.

the closer role should be by committee and call the kid Dominguez up if verdugo is hurt and can't run and be at his best. what do you have to lose uh the division jackasses the kid can come up and bring that fire that this team is missing in a division race we can't afford to be losing to bad teams.
