Lafleur said he always ran his offense. He was pissed off bigtime when he heard that rumor. He also loves Rodgers and they talk all the time

@markb3786 They were a Top 3 scoring team in the NFL you fool with Rodgers and Lafleur. He absolutely ran his offense. Now with Jacobs is even be more run centric. GB didn't do that whatsoever last year. You couldn't do that with Aaron Jones. You obviously don't know anything about the Packers
@kayo348126 күн бұрын
You're right. Plus, Lafleur had no problem winning without running "his offense" with Rodgers. In his first three seasons with the Packers, Lafleur led Green Bay to three 13-win seasons, three NFC North crowns and two appearances in the NFC title game, and he helped Rodgers win back-to-back MVPs.

@@kayo3481 Exactly it was a great match. Plus that didn't have a RB like Jacobs that you could grind away non stop. Love barely passes anymore. One WR Romeo Doubs already skipped practice and was suspended because of a lack of targets. However it looks silly because they should keep playing this way

I’m curious why, in these discussions about the QB moving forward, no one mentions the status of Jordan Travis. He was obviously great at FSU until suffering that severe ankle injury. Heard he had a rehab setback months ago. Can you give an update on his condition and how the team views him for the future?
@familyman60026 күн бұрын
run the ball 20 + times sounds good but the jets running attack has not been effective, you have to call whatever gives you the best chance to win....there is no misdirection to their run game which is a huge part of the problem

Aaron Rodgers has a PFF grade of 78.3 14th in the NFL. Rodgers is still a dang solid NFL QB. PFF takes EVERYTHING into it watching film and analytics. Big time throws, turnover worthy throws, pass protection, drops, hitting a open man, missing open man, etc. So with Rodgers you are getting a Top 15 QB according to PFF who could you get that's better? Also Rodgers has been better than Top 15 since the Bye and Oline starting to gel with Adams, Wilson, etc. You get Vrabel and another year with the Offense together arrow is pointing Up.

@@PeterAllen09No offense but who the heck uses QBR besides ESPN who made up the statistic. Its insanely weird they won't even come out and say what's it made up of. I'm not saying Passer Rating is perfect but it's waaay better than QBR. QBR has freaking Kyler Murray who has been horrendous 6th in the NFL this year. Goff is behind Murray somehow. You have to use PFF Grades. It's better than QBR and Passer Rating. Murray is a 77 which is 17th in the NFL so much better and accurate. Aaron Rodgers is a 78.3 14th in the NFL. Jordan Travis needs to get a chance in 2025. Who knows how he will be. As for Vrabel, is he really going to go to a division with Reid, Harbaugh, and Sean Peyton? Not so sure about that one.

It doesn't matter what his numbers are if they're not winning games. All it does is add to his hall of fame legacy. Rodgers doesn't help the Jets win games.

I think I’m on the side of bringing Rodgers back, but the Jets so desperately need a hot start. You have the 2-1 start then tough losses to DEN & MIN & BUF. The Jets as much as anyone in football ride the vibes, so as soon as you have 3 tough losses it’s all over. If Greg the Leg makes the game-winning kick against Denver, you’re having a very different convo the rest of the season. Maybe you play a smidge better against MIN & BUF and you’re 4-2 or 5-1 and vibes are great.

Cut. Start fresh. Jets have a young core of key players that will need to get paid. Keeping Rodgers for another year will likely require signing Devante and/or Lazard. The offense won't be innovative as Rodgers has his own offense scheme that's he's comfortable with. He creates a ton of distractions that you don't want to put on the young core of players as well as the incoming regime. He can still play, but he's not game changer that he once was. He's also injury liability as a 42 year old next year. He hasn't been healthy for 3 years and you're not going to heal quicker as you age. 1 hit and he's on the injury report. And let's be honest. His stats this year look so much better than the actual play. Most of throws are within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage and many are behind. It's the YAC that accounts for good portion of the overall yardage and that limits the offense you can run.
