Where else can you work in the City during the day, head home to Elmont, party in Manhattan at night, then go flyfishing on the Eastbranch of the Croton, visit the baseball hall of fame in Cooperstown, rock climbing in the Adirondacks, boating the 1000 islands seaway, go atop Mt Mckinley, then follow up with diving for lobster off Montauk Point, have dinner with a loved one at Rockefeller Plaza, dig for Herkimer diamonds in a mine, Fire works at the Battery, Kiss a loved on at Niagra Falls..I♡NY

I didn't have to take a vacation in New York state. I lived there for two years 1990-92. and New york state is beautiful. most of New york state is 90 something % country and farm land. I used to live 30 miles from Syracuse.

I was born and raised in Syracuse; more specifically on the far south side in the Town of Onondaga - literally blocks from Nedrow. The city mayor had no jurisdiction, but we had a town board.

How I recall first seeing this ad and shortly after meeting the Local MA Cowboy star of Boomtown Rex Trailer who plays The NH fly fisherman in this ad of which is the very first commercial for I Love New York.I'm his A#1 and diehard fan. ++++Truly Ste++++

That guy was trout fishing on the Ausable River, best six mile trout heaven on earth. It runs from Wilmington NY to Lake Placid. Visit the Adirondack Sport Shop and talk to Fran Betters the master of the Ausablewulff.

Yes. I need to live not his state sometime whenever I retire. In the state, I'm going to live in a town called Beacon, which is probably near the city and next to good ol' Connecticut (The town where Super Troopers was filmed at). And yes, here I am saying. I live in Maryland, and I LOVE New York!

I remember those Pataki adds! I remember the hugh carey adds! I remember the Cuomo adds! I remember them all... New York... What happened??? We used to be all that! You've changed not to include the rest of the state!!! Whats up with that??... Pataki was right.... 'New York doesn't end where the Hudson begins'! Bring back this Orchestrated version with some of the New things the state has to offer!
