Both medium and hard took almost 7 minutes. The amount of pairs and claims made it easier., Edit: 9:33 While there was uniqueness, when you placed 359, the 9's claim in that box so you could have eliminated 9 from the 29 in box 2 but I like that scanning. I could have placed 3 early on from that.

I have one question for you: why do you scan the puzzle like that? First horizontally, then the stacks. I started doing sudokus like a month ago when I found your channel (I had done a few before that, but now I play every day) and always see you doing that. What is the advantage of doing it that way instead of scanning each number: first the 1s, then the 2s, etc?

When you limit yourself to scanning one digit at a time you're training a habit that will only work on the easiest Sudoku puzzles. You will miss most patterns that require considering multiple digits at once.

Hi!! I think I started doing these puzzles a month ago as well, and I even commented in one of Rangsk's videos before saying something like "for the first time, I figured out with you stick to this "pattern", because my strategy (solving by numbers) made me miss some important pairs, pointing numbers, etc. that, when you start scanning bands, you can easily see." Since then, I have been trying to perfect my own scanning strategy, starting by the bands but looking for that specific number at the same time, so that I don't miss, for example, some important pointing or claiming numbers along the way. If you like to focus on scanning the numbers like I did, I think you will like this strategy! Good solves ☺
