Unfortunately, I'm not the best person to ask for this. (I'm more into the speed running aspect of Diablo than pushing Greater Rifts). The leaderboards mainly are dominated by Raekor Barbarian/ LoD Monk combo. As to why, that would be better left to players who push. But LoD monks benefit the most from the season theme when it comes to damage output, while Raekor Barbarian is a standard in GR pushing every season.

W s34 2 player u go zbarb, s34 version, and lod wiz, lod nova, or lod monk. My guess is that lod monk will be the best, even w the nerf.

W lod monk it will be easy atleast, remember to save a pylon for boss.

If you want to push 150, it’s a hard challenge with low Paragon, bad gear, and no augments. It becomes much easier with a minimum of Paragon, good gear, and augments. However, farming augments takes more time than building three sets with 10 ancient pieces each. For 2-man groups, one player must play as a zSupport. A zDH can act as a puller with the Natalya set if needed, but a zBarb offers a lot of toughness. This season, the spinning zBarb is overpowered. For DPS, this season’s top pick is LoD Monk. You can play any class, but Witch Doctor and Crusader might feel a bit weaker. I’m starting with a friend, and we’re both starting with Demon Hunter. DH is the best for speed farming (Unhallowed Strafe) and Paragon farming (Impale Strafe). Additionally, DH can farm Dexterity ancient pieces for LoD Monk, later one can build a zbarb.

Nice run! I'm not sure doing the vision on your way to the magic rock was worth it, at least not until after you got the gems and could go back with a higher level weapon, although I know how tempting it can be and you can get lucky. I'm somehow always 18+ when i finish the first T1 bounty (probably killing too much) so I think I'll do normal boss bounties in that case, but would go to the rock like you otherwise. I'm gonna go for bounties this time - restart on a level 1 necro and do act1/3/4/5 bounties and maybe a rift starting on T6 so I can get my journey done at the same time. Usually just do massacres so it'll be a bit different. Ima try snapshot all 4 remaining acts and see how high a torment i can do them in. One thing I noticed in my quick testing was to un-assign command skeletons or it'll passively level you up on the way to boss bounties etc making them much harder. I'll probably skip the cube til later when I have a movement skill because more often than not I don't have the mats to make use of the cube til later anyway unless I get good RNG with a gob or vision. Also in a test run the magic rock only gave me one diamond, praying that doesn't happen on the real go!

As for the Vision, yes, I'd be able to unlock weapons, but I'd still be short gold for the Level 70 weapon, and I need the Vision for materials, and can't guarantee I'd get another one by the time I had the 70 weapon. And it's not just having the 70 weapon but having full 70 gear where things speed up a bit. Now, normally, if leveling a Wizard without a Challenge Cache, I would not level this particular way, as I'd level up a Necro first to 18. That way, I could start a Wizard doing T2/T3 bounties and get the gold out of the way in one shot and then do a higher-level Vision. This would in turn save 10+ minutes in the full 1-70 run. But I only have so many attempts at a fresh Season. As for the magic rock? There's an 83% chance at getting 2 diamonds. So you view it as you got your bad luck out of the way now!

@@Nytegard haha, here's hoping! For the vision comment, i meant you could have skipped the vision portal, run to the rock for the diamonds + altar unlock, crafted a e.g. level 40/50 weapon and then gone back in to do the vision afterwards and clear it much easier. Didn't see how much mats/gold you had at that point though. You still cleared the vision fairly quickly though so not a huge deal.

@@domperry4175 Understood. Looking at it, I had 11 yellows at the time, which should have been enough to craft the weapon then, so yeah, that would have been a little faster. That's the beauty about the Season Start, you only get one shot. That's one major difference between most practice videos you'll find online where they simulate a Season Start, is that you can practice getting the muscle memory down, but many often exceed the materials they'd have in an actual season. Thus, you really can't judge the time it will take to hit 70 with them. The downside of course with leveling with a real fresh season is you only get one shot. Thus, if I make a mistake, or have an area that could be optimized, I don't get to try again. With a real Season Start, you're often going to have to improvise, and you might not always make the best choice thinking on the fly.

@ yea i love how its only one shot tbh. Theres also the rng of getting a lucky goblin and you can gamble for something off kadala and win big etc. and maybe then youll want to get the cube earlier. I always make some sort of mistake too, like forgetting to snapshot or even forgetting to equip follower weapon :D. I dont typically practice it too often because then the actual season start isn't as new and exciting.

i have necro so, i level up to 19 with it and unlock altar for level up a real character, always dh(best class in the game, change my mind), i remember try it with WD with maxroll guide, but was a worst time compare to necro, maybe i test WZ xd

The Necro to 18 will be faster by a significant margin, but not everyone has access to the Necro DLC.

Problem w this guides is that the point is not to be first to 70, the point is beeing first to have a usable 6 piece set that can farm gr 75 fast, and finish altar fast.

Hello, the challenge chest is enabled on Monday or Tuesday before the start of the season. It gives many materials and gold necessary to raise the blacksmith to the maximum level and thus be able to craft a level 70 weapon. If you knew it well for you. Many use that trick for the start of the season.

​@@Flaya86 I know, but you have a week to continue with the seasonal diary and get another challenge chest. Getting to 70 and getting all 6 pieces of the set is the first thing. In any case, the pace of the game is set by each person. Good luck and enjoy next season.

If u play alot first weekend u use challenge rift cache for altar. If u know how to lvl u loose only 1 hour compared to using challenge rift. Then u can easy finish altar first evening, wich is valuable if u gonna play alot.

Nice run, but going to the magic rock when you're already lvl 19 is a waste of time :) If you're above 18, just go for the boss bounty. Running to the magic rock takes 5-7 minutes.

Well if you get unlucky and have to run 3+ bosses, magic rock is quicker.

@@electricman2011 Ehm... No? First of all, you need 1-3 runs, and you can do easily 1x ZK a minute...

@pinkgamer3028 You may need to reset game 1 minute to even get ZK bounty. To other bosses you walk minute.
