As well articulated as Obama is he fails to outline the penalties to Iran if they violate the agreement. Violate is what Iran will do on day one given their history with UN inspections. Now Iran wants UN sanctions to be lifted day one, which would be difficult to reimpose given Russia. This is indeed a bad deal and Obama is foolish if he believes these rug merchants will keep their word.

Pierre S. oh, yes, this is very important. It is very important that nothing was written down, Iran is chanting death to America, practicing war games on a mock naval ship and has said that "israel's destruction is non-negotiable".Yes, you need a raving Pro-Jihadist Commie Community organizer to explain his grand vision for how the world works, and why he is the only person who knows what is right and just . He is our King because he gets this knowledge while hanging out with Beyonce and playing golf with ESPN sports anchors...

I think this is a historic interview and 30 years later people would thank Obama for postponing a World War. Iran is a lone country in a region full of enemies who are richer and are more militarily powerful. Leadership is defined not by how to talk to people like you but in engaging people different from you. Economic prosperity can cure Iran's historical hangups more than bombing would. What a shame that this interview has only been seen by 17k people...

This interview reminded me just how intelligent he is. I deeply admire that in a person, let alone a president. He point of view is so nuanced. It's not the typical black and white stuff one expects out of a politician, and so I think he will go down as a great president once all is said and done.
@JohnnyTango1116 жыл бұрын

He bankrupted our country, funded and armed ISIS, and he tried to start WWIII with Russia and China. He killed half a million people in Syria alone. ObamaCare was a total disaster. I don't understand why anyone who is informed would think he is a great President.
questione: will anyone ever ask him about Israel nuclear weapons? when we're the only country in the middle east with nuclear weapons?
@eldarmoore17419 жыл бұрын
honey H What's a point? Israel is the only Democratic country in the region, it's tiny surrounded by unfriendly and unstable environment, if Israel has nukes it has all the reasons to. The main point is Israel never threatened it's unfriendly and hostile neighbors with destruction and annihilation. So again... what's your point?
@1280honey9 жыл бұрын
B Wiser loool, Iran has not started a war nor invaded a country in 268 years. How old is america? the last time Iran was aggressive to its neighbors was first half of the 18th Century, under the reign of Nadir Shah(king) (1688-1747). Its perfectly fine that you don't share the same views as the Persian people, hell we as american's don't all agree on basic moral values. Yet to imply that Iran is uncivilized is bases on no shred of evidence. the question we should all ask ourselves which nations are always the aggressor and how can we change it without starting another war?
@eldarmoore17419 жыл бұрын
honey H Are you serious or you'r just so far away don't read the news, have no clue of the middle east politics, yet feel compelled to expose your naive opinion? Iran is supporting proxy's Around the Middle East, sponsoring terrorist organisations like "Hizballah" in Lebanon ( This terror organisation is stronger than military of many countries in the world, in poses of 150k missiles targeting Israel) Islamic Jihad in Gaza, sponsoring terrorists in Iraq, Yemen, and other Middle East regions. They also threat with Annihilation of Israel not once.
@1280honey9 жыл бұрын
Eldar Moore no there should not be a double stand!! name two country since the establishment of UN that has started a preemptive war? better known as the The Bush Doctrine? Israel and my government. The point i'm trying to make why is our media so forces on making enemies which don't exist. I think we should all follow international Law, until we do so then we have no right of accusing another country who follows all Safeguards Agreement and relevant provisions of Security Council resolutions by International Atomic Energy Agency.
@1280honey9 жыл бұрын
Eldar Moore according to UN there is no evidence Iran supports "proxy's war in Yemen. secondly i'm aware of what's going in the middle east, considering I work for amnesty international. LMAO so what it support Hizballah? was it not my government who support al-qaeda later became daesh(isis) but here's the biggest distinguish between al-qaeda most of whom were foreigners(not afghans while Hizballah are supported by Lebanese people. Do i agree with what happened in 2006? no of course i don't but to say that the capture of two Israeli soldiers is equivalent to the killing of 1,000 civilians is disgusting. Israeli forces had committed indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks, including the use of cluster bombs in civilian areas. We found that Israeli forces also appear to have carried out direct attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure, seemingly to pursue a strategy intended to punish Lebanon for not turning against Hizballah. War crimes were committed by all parties, and civilians bearing the brunt of casualties but without a doubt Israel indiscriminate and disproportionate attacks cannot compare to Hizballah.

The president seems very thoughtful, patient, rational, articulate, intelligent and pragmatic when trying to solve large complex foreign and domestic issues. This is one of his best qualities. However, when it comes to race issues, he seems to approach it with a different manner. He seems, biased, emotional, irrational, and quick to jump to conclusion. Whenever there's a black person death or arrest in the news, he would immediately speak out and jump to conclusion. I believe that's his weakness and makes him very divisive to the American people.

The fetwa by Iran's supreme leader, Ayatollah Khameani, against acquiring a nuclear weapon should not be taken too seriously. According to Islamic jurisprudence, a fetwa is only an opinion. It is non binding. In order for it to become binding it must survive a challenge from an opposing fetwa. This is done through debate. No opposing fetwa has yet been issued, and, consequently, no debate over the question has taken place. This means that the current fetwa by the supreme leader can be unseated by an opposing fetwa issued by his successor.
