Yes. But he shouldn't just call Bibi - he wouldn't listen, with Trump ready to give him everything he wants on Jan 20 regardless of anything Joe can do now on the weapons front. He should call Linda Thomas-Greenfield, and the members of the Security Council. And make them an offer they won't refuse, to pass a resolution to send in Peacekeepers. Big time. No veto. And brand Israel a rogue state if they resist. Before Rubio, Huckabee, and Stefanik get there. This might be the last chance to stop the ethnic cleansing, and prevent Kushner from building condos in depopulated Gaza.

He should do all of the things mentioned in this episode, then immediately step down and have Kamala sworn into the office, making her the 47th president.
@zuzanazuscinova52098 күн бұрын
No! The majority does not want her to be the president.

@zuzanazuscinova5209 Kind of the point.

And that would do what? Trump takes office in 7 weeks. Which is enough time to do most of this list (priority: French's idea about using Russian assets to fund Ukraine), enable the Security Council to take action to stop Israel's war, declassify anything that could complicate Trump's plans, and pardon his whole group of "retribution tour" targets (shoulda just thrown Hunter in there, with 200 other possible political, media, and military targets - would have been a very different story than just pardoning his son). But giving Harris 7 weeks . . . not productive in any way.
@Carisus8 күн бұрын
@natepinson I didn't say to give her 7 weeks. 7 minutes would be enough time to have a woman as the 47th president. That's the point. She doesn't need to do anything except get sworn in as president.
@natepinson8 күн бұрын
@Carisus I respectfully disagree. Women, and our country, deserve more than a performative gesture, with no real substance. If he had done that 2 years ago, different story. But 7 weeks or 7 minutes just highlights our refusal to elect a female leader.

MOVE Veteran’s Day to Election Day. GOP will support more veteran recognition and the day off in observance may allow the working poor to participate in elections more easily.
@yuriajones7 күн бұрын
Good suggestion. Although I firmly believe that many within the GOP will find "good" reasons to go against the idea.
