Neat video as always Zoran! I’ve never thought much about the invasion maps, nor how to optimize them to even work much in my favor, so this was a nice way to show me some tips. Nestran style castle it is! Is there a castle style that’s the best on the Birthright route? I know it’s the easier route and all but if people ever do lunatic on it plus no grinding besides invasions and/or paralogues I feel like that would help. Can’t wait to see the one of the hardest maps in conquest get trivialized by you again.

I really like Nyx and know she is overlooked in favor of the Scion odin dark... but if you could feature her more I would appreciate :) she has her uses, aside from instadying to melee.

In one of your earlier videos, you mentioned that with Odin, you can just drop him on the throne (I believe with Elise back up) and you could just watch him eat everyone up... which takes place for a bit, until the boss lunges in on Odin, and then captures the throne instead of dying. Is there a specific counter to the lunge tech from the boss in those kinds of situations? I tried a handful of times to counter it, I was able to lunge back the throne with Elise, but then she just gets a train ran on her by all of the other enemies, and if the boss isn't killed, it just lunges back trying to to capture the throne.

You do need to arrange things so that you can attack the boss pair before they attack you

I always just slapped the lottery, smithy, and arena on the bottom to prevent the enemies from speed running to the thrown. I never knew about the ai manipulation, can’t wait to try it out in invasion 2.

Ouh Nyx! It's interesting to see her since she usually gets overshadowed by Odin & Ophelia in your other vids. I wonder if she really is the worst unit in the game.

Yeah, I'd say worst, though maybe "least versatile" is a better descriptor, given how much versatility Fates units have (Nyx is still a terrific wife for Leo, for example). As for Laslow, while he's only so-so (no pun intended), his Rally is a unique stat boost that sometimes can push you over thresholds, Bow Knight is a solid early promote class, and he does get an interesting Sol-Ninja build, which he has 'natural' access to.

@@jonathanlgill that’s fair. His rally is unique and can be clutch at times even without investing him into a rally bot. Idk why I thought a natural sol ninja would be the worst unit lol. I mean if you marry Nyx to Odin she can eventually copy that vantage life and death sorc build lol. Probably not worth the effort but the payoff doesnt sound terrible to me if you really like Nyx.

@@bloodstained76 I don't really think it's viable getting it on her (it definitely is for Leo, I'd say): 4 levels in Master of Arms for Nyx sounds like a nightmare. Her lower hit rate also means it's not as reliable with Nyx. I don't see anything she can do with it that Ophelia can't match at a lower investment.

Wouldnt u usually promote units immediately in no growth runs? Or does the money not work out for the master seal from the shop?

He’s playing and showing moves as if he had growths but just the unluckiest man on the planet. The reason he doesn’t use master seals is because on a normal playthrough, he wouldn’t early promote.

Hey Zoran, I have the OmegaAvenger texture pack extracted to the custom texture location for the game (special edition USA) but it makes the game entirely unplayable (the sky is purple and the ground is patchy,. menus are unreadable etc) and I'm wondering if I've made an error in installing the texture pack or if other mods are needed to make it work. The only mod I have installed is the weapon icon one. Send help pls!!

@@Zoran501 it’s an ASUS RoG with a GTX 3080 (laptop ver) and a ryzen 7 5800HS processor and has 16 GB ram

@@lucasward167 then that's probably not the issue, but it was worth checking! You don’t have to install other mods to make it work, so perhaps the problem is with your Citra configuration. These are the graphics settings I use: Internal Resolution: 6x Enable Linear Filtering Post-Processing: none Texture Filter: none Stereoscopic 3D: Off Use Custom Textures Enable Hardware Renderer Enable Hardware Shader Accurate Multiplication Enable Shader JIT Use Disk Shader Cache Enable VSync I’d also recommend that you use the latest build of Citra Canary.
