Just to put her power into some sort of understandable perspective. Zeus the almighty god that defeated the titans, bullied Atlas out of well paying job just so he could use his strength to create the first ever snow-globe. Submitted Typhon by tagging in/throwing Dwayne Johnson from the clouds to deliver the biggest People's elbow the universe has ever witnessed. The same god that complained of having a bit of a headache.. only to find out it was just a case of a fully grown armored Athena banging on his brain like a drum because the night light went out. He was the big kid that played King of the hill using a Taser.. 99% of the universe was his to fuck with....... Then if you compare that power with say someone like Moros (one of Nyx's children) and Zeus becomes nothing more than a puppet on some strings.. and if Moros gets bored playing zeusnocchio he can just cut the strings and its game over Then there is Nyx... Moros' Mother... If she decides thats enough playtime, she can tell Moros to put his toys away and put him down for a nap just in time for Judge Judy and a glass or two of wine.... gameover universe... Its essentially Toy Story on a grander scale... The toys are gods...Andy is Moros and Nyx is the mum that turns off the light when its bed time...

1:11 What's most intresting (well one of the most..) thing about greek myth is how that the first deities which were *embodiments of primeval darkness would be the ones to give birth to the first lights of the cosmos,* something that many worldbuilders don't seem to utilize very often. That thing being *"light from the darkness"* kinda theme.

There's a series of young adult books called House of Night which uses Nyx not as the Goddess of the Night, but as the Goddess of Vampires spelled Vampyres. The mother and daughter co authors kept many of the beliefs of Nyx, they just made her as having chosen people to become vampires. They are marked to become a vampire. It doesn't always happen. Many do become vampyres while others do not. It depends on if the fledgling vampyre's body accepts or rejects the transformation. If the body rejects the transformation, it's painful and bloody and they die. If the body accepts the transformation, it's still painful, but the vampyre is considered an adult and they receive tattoos around their face. The fledglings are marked with a crescent moon. When they are adults the crescent moon is filled in with the color blue.

The Higgs boson was just such a thing that was hidden in the darkness and could only be speculated about through mathematics until we brought it out of the darkness with the LHC. Darkness and night are only what we haven't yet explored. Nyx can be our metaphorical guide.

Literally always liked the idea of Nyx, one of my favourite deities
@idraote6 жыл бұрын
With primeval deities it's always hard to come by a reasonably safe theory. My idea is that for most ancient peoples "void" didn't exist: it was either chaos (matter without shape) or creation (matter with a shape). Chaos must necessarily be the first deity. A deity who lived endlessly because matter without shape knows no time. The end of chaos is usually the birth of the two opposite ideas/gods of light and darkness. It doesn't mean that chaos dies, it just means that he retires to the edges of what is now creation. What is interesting about the Greek myth is that chaos doesn't generate light and darkness directly: he generates two forms of darkness and it is these two forms (Erebus and Nyx) who create light. The second point is that these early deities are often abstractions whereas the actual gods are individuals. This is probably why we have so little information about them and the relationship between abstractions and actual gods is always ambiguous and unclear.

Nyx is my favourite goddess 💜 (you know, as a character...not an actual goddess). Half of me wished I could hear more about her while the other half likes the mystery. That particular half is the creative side of me that likes to add my own interpretations to a character 😅

Thanks for the video, the mystery around this goddess not only adds to her character but has inspired me to use her name for my (ostensibly mysterious, crepuscular) pet Pink Tongued Skink.

Her story continues through those who are of her own Energy. As we observe eachother, perhaps look at your own Energy or that of those around you may carry this...Darkness, perhaps you are the Daughter of Chaos or Some form of Underground powerful figure in your community. That person can be found in many of us...do we Create the Night or Day with what we carry from within...As Her own Offspring where of Light and Darkness...Meaning, those of Us who perhaps grew up on Darkness can use that influence as a Powerful force to create what maybe needed....sometimes disruption and chaos needs to Awaken folks from deep slumber.

@Happy Rambutan I see the message, but I am aware of the Fact that women are demoralized even in western Astrology, but not all Astrology do this... just the interpretation between ages either thrives or plummets. Energy is just energy...I do only speak in general sometimes, but even though I absolutely love Astrology I disagree with the way they chose to relat their stories for example: the moon and its energy being devalued by these Greeco Roman Society of men. Cancer is not a good way to describe Feminine energy, but there it is representing A sign that Represents Mothers. Just get a vibe that it was I'll intended. Hera/Juno (JUPITERS wife )Astroid reports back as a scorn jealous wife that kills Innocent children and families. If you remember Hercules fueled madness... And lost of family. Seems like women were always written as the the villain. (🤔💭 Bible) Or medusa's story of rape and exile...then death...too bad me too was not in her life time. I understand there are hidden meanings in the grand scheme of literature, but Sometimes situations match the Energy and we can use these and any story really that triggers Transformation In us. Lillith and Eve...both written as the bad guy.

Trust me if she doesn't have enough stories, there has to be something going on, first knowing of her, seems she is out of our matter time and space, too powerful to attack on a small scale
