…this is an enhanced redesign of the original. With the limiters removed from the Psychoframe at Zoltan’s request. No matter the strain on the pilot or the machine, the Psychoframe will mantain a “full contact” resonance state for as long as possible. Full Frontal had the Psychoframe in his as well, but it was nowhere near as powerful as it is here. This is partly due to Frontal’s lack of emotion, which is what the Psychoframe draws its power from. But it’s also the fact that different emotions cause the Psychoframe to react and increase in power differently. As shown time and time again. The strongest catalyst for the Psychoframe is compassion. “Positive” emotions exert a stronger reaction from the Psychoframe, and it can even cause the crystalline structure of it to become hyper active, leading to spontaneous growth, like what happened with the Unicorn during the Over the Rainbow incident. Hatred, anger, resentment. These do indeed cause a significant surge of power from a Psychoframe, but compared to the “positive” charge, these “negative” emotions cause shorter bursts of pure uncontrolled power, which is very strong but also very unstable and unreliable. Zoltan’s unbridled contempt and anger, his blind rage, is what allowed the Psychoframe to surge like it did here, and become so powerful. But it too is only able to do so much, as seen when he fights the Phenex.

Causality, String Theory, Superposition, advanced quantum theories…understanding this stuff is what will help you understand how things like the Psychoframe truly work…but to grasp such things is to have forbidden knowledge. So we should leave things like that with more simple explanations. Explanations based on what we can actively observe. And what we can actively observe is that Psychoframe responds to human thought.

方々でなんやかんや言われてますが、アニメーションとしては、育成の意味合いが強いらしいし(本当に？)、そもそも公式がどう言おうと(宇宙世紀)全部がちょっとずつ異なる世界線として、自分は捉えてるからストーリーは楽しめるのよね。 ただ、ネオ・ジオングが破壊される描写は不死鳥狩りの方が感動的かなぁ。 イアゴ隊長死んじゃうけどね。 どんなガンダムでも楽しんでみせる！それが私の特権だ！！😆 トワイライトアクシズ？ アニメーションなんて在りましたっけ？ 知りませんね～(´ﾟзﾟ)～♪(すっとぼけ) 追記 アニメーションはやはり子どもたち中心に考えられているんじゃないかな？ 解りやすい派手な演出が多いのはそのためなんじゃないかな。 そのうち子どもたちが大人になったら派手さよりも、地味だが心に沁みるストーリーと演出を好きになるんだよ。 その繰り返しでガンダムは衰退と復権を繰り返すんじゃないかな？

It’s pretty much implied that most of these MAs that Cyber Newtypes pilot are meant to be “last resort” weapons of mass destruction. And that having them pilot them will almost surely result in them being destroyed. So the pilots have either already began to unravel or they begin to go insane from the machine. As many of these MAs for Cyber Newtypes are testbeds for technology made to draw more power from Newtypes. Like the Psycho Gundam, which actually had the earliest form of the Psychoframe installed in it, which was nothing more than an advanced computer system which “boosted” the unit and its pilot, regardless of the strain on the latter, hence why it was stated to “corrupt” or “control” its pilot.

Think of it like the Extended from Gundam SEED. Without constant memory wipes and time in a medical incubator, they quite literally begin to deteriorate. They’re made to be super soldiers that if captured they’ll end up dying before they can talk. They’re made to have short lifespans as well. With most Cyber Newtypes rarely living for more than 5-10 years after their conversion surgeries…and that’s only if they’re lucky enough to be able to escape the battlefield…
