Thanks for the tips! Could you do a video about raising weaner cows to market weight at some stage? That is what I am probably going to do so I can avoid the hassles of milk feeding and some of the other calf hassles.

Hi, Have really enjoyed watching your videos just wondering how big the calf shed your planning on building is going to be. thanks

Not super big. Its a 9x10m split into quarters with a race down middle. Hoping to have it up by end of the year 🙏

I see your calves go off at about 12 weeks old, I have a couple that I want to sell on, Jersey x Fresian, but unsure what sort of price you charge for that age group...... Thanks 🙂

I'm not too sure as I dont have much knowledge on what that breed sells for. If you can hold them untill spring time you will get more for them.

Hi there - slightly off subject sorry but couldn't help noticing you're using Milk Bar teats?? is this due to your preference over Peach teats? Cheers :)

Hey there. In episode 2 I talk about it alot more if you want to check that out. They are called 'big softy' teats .I prefer these over peach as they don't have valves in them making it a more 'natural' teat for them for many benefits.

@@thecurlefarm Thank you for your reply, yes the big softy teats are good-was just curious as I know Stallion feeders supply peach teats with their troughs :).
