Umm what dodgy pitch? Runs scored were in excess of 700, so you may want to clarify your definition of dodge. Not a fan of the tactical skullduggery myself, but you weren't winning on a spin or seam friendly wicket either mate.

You're right, sorry. I guess the pitch drama just takes away from what has been an otherwise excellent campaign for the team - and that leaves us unsatisfied deep within, hence the somewhat grouchy response to SENA folks surfacing the pitch issue (though they have every right to do so imo).

A dogy pitch, BCCI money, and a whole lot of Whining is in store.. New Zealand almost gave a scare to India while chasing a mammoth score and you are saying the pitch was dodgy.. Lol Until the 30th over new Zealand were in par with India, and it was as batting friendly for New Zealand as it was for India. Just FYI, the pitches used in the T20 world cup semi finals in Australia were also USED PITCHES, but what was absent was the whining. The fact is, It's difficult for some to digest the way India is playing.

Even your captain said that it was a fair pitch he didn't raise a voice against the pitch neither did any of his team mate or the whole NZ side. Even ICC has clarified on it, now stop crying and accept defeat. The ICC does not mandate that knockout games be played on a new pitch, with their regulations saying only: "It is expected that venues that are allocated the responsibility of hosting a match will present the best possible pitch and outfield conditions for that match." So, it's good that curators changed and offered the best possible pitch for the match and eliminated the advantages to single team. Both teams scored 300+

As someone who regularly trolls all of India’s opponents, I can’t find it in me to be too harsh to the Kiwis. They’re such tough competitors and true gentlemen all rolled up into one wholesome package. ICC changed the pitch for this match because 1st pitch was favouring the 1st batting team to make it even ICC changed it so that 2nd batting team can also score. The only team I truly feared was NZ side. NZ historically has been a better finisher in tournaments compared to India. Obviously Aussies show up to play in big matches, we Indians know that very well. When Williamson and Mitchell were batting, I saw the game slipping away. For the first time in this tournament I felt we were not in the driver’s seat but it took Shami and Indian team to have a historic game to beat NZ.

Kane has won the test championship. So he & team will retire with something in their bag (when they do). NZ has been everyone's 2nd fav team, after their own. Williamson is the most likeable captain, and you have shown some serious spine and fight for a country of only a few millions (is it 4M?). I didn't know the fact about NZ being the most consistent team to qualify for semis, above even Aus & Ind since 2015. My best wishes..

NZ is an exceptional team ,most teams do collapse in powerplay against our bowling ,true darkhorse ,cool and calm ,your team have given us so many heart breaks , for us NZ team is a true nightmare in championship qualifications , what i like is your stable method and discipline of playing good cricket , rachin is your new found gem ,soon he'll get ipl offers ,Daryl what a player his front shots are pleasing to eye ,no pressure on him ,he played exceptionally well when your chips are down, so well played kiwis ❤

If you see social media posts on cricket since WC started, there’s lots of hatred being spewed daily on India mostly from 3 countries, Pakistan, UK n Aust and their media n journalists too hv been doing it. Did India bowl NZ out for less than 200 runs and strolled through the match? So, It’s ridiculous to blame a pitch that gave more than 700 runs and 15 wickets as reason for NZ defeat that many ppl are saying now. India won bcos they scored more runs in the first 9 overs and in the last 10 overs compared to NZ . NZ was clearly hampered by not having a good 5th bowler and Mitchell had no partner after Glenn Phillips went out. The only reason why many are blaming BCCI for NZ’s defeat is bcos they only want a reason to spew hatred on Indian team.

@@lakshminreddy558 You are correct and that’s why i wanted SA to win and thought when thy batted 1st, thy will score more than 320 runs but unfortunately the choker tag is appropriate for them. Aust will be very dangerous as thy are approaching top form at right time and can destroy India .
