Dang, this video is amazing. I would say that I definitely see some yanking on the horse's mouth, but it is MUCH better than many, many other horse riding compilations that are on youtube and the riders seemed very capable, rather than just wildly kicking and using the reins for balance.

This looks like a blast! I do dressage and I play around with some little games (nothing compared to this) and the pony I ride always loves it! He gets ring sour so things like this give him a good change from the same old same old.

I'm from Brazil! We have here places to train (i don't know if this is really the word, since my english isnt that good...) show jumping - a lot, in fact -, dressage, eventing, vaulting...but mounted games simply doesn't exist here! D:

I love mounting games I have been doing since I was 3 bit it was only in a trot with little ponies but when I turned 6 I started cantering then galloping when I was 11

I would LOVE to do something like this, unfortunately I don't think I could ever do this with my horse. He's a 16.2 hand TB and I'm only 5' 3" lol. There is NO way I'm ever getting on without a mounting block!

this is so dangerous for the horses, the way they stop them is very crazy and they could end up breaking a leg. Ive seen it happen

Yee-Haw! What fun to watch! Kids playing warrior games on horseback, no one getting hurt. Yes some of the horses are getting their mouths yanked on, but look at other sports at this level, same thing, always some riders more proficient in handling their horses. In any sport you see horses and riders needing more and better training. Watch jumping videos on worst horse falls and you'll see lots of of bad stuff, horses putting up with all kinds of rider clumsiness and lack of training and ability.

I don't like this. It's all about winning and speed, not about the happyness of your horse. What i see a lot is pulling and kicking. The horses SAY that they have pain. For someone who understands horses, it should be obvious, if you watch their heads, tails, and mouths. They aren't having fun, they have pain.

it not actually about winning and speed. The horses actually like it. I have a Games pony who loves games and she is about 20 years old. The horses have been trained for Games obviously and they do like it. They are having a lot of fun, at my pony club, all the horses who do Games are trained and they have fun. So keep your opinions to yourself unless you are an EXPERIENCED horse person or you actually do Games yourself.

***** they have snaffles in there mouth? the amount of riders i see show jumping, dressage , cross country yanking there ponies mouth out with massive bits and i dont see you complain to them. no . its just cause this is section of riding is considered different? the horses are so well cared for so before you say anout it hurting there mouth actually get involved in the sport. we hav a heigh to weight to experience ratio rule? didnt know about that know did you? no you just judge on what you can see i dont see other disciplines have it.
