My mate had a bad accident in qtwn maybe 2 year ago . Hit the top of a big pine tree . He reckons guys are loose as hell in nz haha

How does this work? I assume you scout out lines on a topo map and plan them to end somewhere with a connection (like a road) back to your vehicle?

Correct! There is a lot of homework on google earth looking at gradients and making sure you can get to the landing area. Depending on how complex the landing is, you might want to visit and check with your eyes. :D
