@Jacob Mundane I literally use NZXT CAM every day and never had an issue except when I had Z73 and once I choosen some strange gif that froze only the LCD screen on the pump. That was it.

@Jacob Mundane I am really sad to hear that. I have no reason to lie honestly. I really am using it on daily bassis and have no issues, but I do hear complaints. Also, I have heard that with Intel it is working without a problem. The problem is with users that have AMD processors. What do you have? Really curious on that matter.

@Jacob Mundane The issue doesn't actually lie in the CPU so to speak. Your pump works perfectly fine all the time because it is powered by the PWM connector which is connected to the motherboard. The real problem lies in the drivers and chipset of the motherboard in that case. So for instance, NZXT controller and everything that is controlled through NZXT CAM software (Kraken PUMP top, fans lights, etc.) will have some sort of a compatibality issues with the drivers, software and similar stuff... Honestly, very unfortunate... I am running Intel, my friends are running Intel and my brother as well and they don't have issues with it.

I agree with your statement on AMD running the market last couple of years and without a doubt, the best investment when it comes to CPUs at the moment. They need to do some major fixes to the NZXT CAM when it comes to AMD platforms. I honetly didn't know this was such a major issue.

It is reliable and it shouldn't leak. Place everything carefully and don't overbend the tubes (like excesive bend where the tubes are really badly bent) and it will be ok. I don't know how long will it least, but you are good to go for a long time.

Unfortunately no, they aren't stored in the Kraken. You need to have Windows app installed, NZXT CAM so it can show temps and gifs.

Definitely is interesting AIO, can't deny that. I think the holes are the same for the fans on every since their size is 120mm so you won't have any problems. As for the cooling, I think it will be ok.

Honestly, when I placed older Kraken series I didn’t use washer. You place the backplate, standoffs, CPU block, locking nuts. That is it. 😉

Never actually had the Arctic Freezer II 360 model to test out and compare. But you can place it on top of the Dynamic XL, that is a big case so you don't have to worry.

Nope, the fans aren’t RGB. You can always add their AER RGB 2 fans if you decide. As for the second question, I honestly haven’t encountered that kind of AIO.

Everything is basically the same when it comes to cooling, but the difference between those two is that the Z73 has an LED display which can show you temperatures (in loads of varieties) and GIFs.

Well maybe you are missing some drivers for the graphic card or you need to update NZXT CAM. It always shows both if I decide to choose that graphics on Z73.

Hi, you can place the fans Thermaltake RIING PLUS RGB 120mm on it and you need to connect them to their controller. But the NZXT Kraken needs to be connected to the motherboard.

@@DepoTube_bfbc2 NZXT Kraken to the motherboard with USB and you still have that small connector which goes to the fan header on the motherboard. Don't forget that. There is also a third cable which is basically a splitter for fans so that the pump, Kraken and NZXT CAM can regulate the speed of the fans depending on the temperature on your CPU. As for the Thermaltake RIING PLUS RGB fans, connect them to the controller you get with them, connect the controller to another internal USB header on your motherboard, install software for Thermaltake RGB and there you go. ;)

The old Kraken X52 should be quite alright. If nothing, it will suffice until you save up for a larger like X63 or above. But I don't think you have to worry about it.

Your radiator is in bad position - causes air bubbles trapped in CPU pump. Should be other way around. Tubes on bottom. See GamersNexus for more details.

Anon E I like how people are now “smarter” after watching GamersNexus videos. Please learn hoe the closed loops or AIOs are filled up and then comment. I have tested over dozens of AIOs and none of them had any issues just because there are literally no or small amount of bubbles which won’t cause literally no issues to the pump or CPU.

It is sitting up the top of the radiator, and you are constantly sucking that in and out of the pump. This is nothing do to with closed custom loops - I was building those when you were 10 years old - of course water and air can be controlled in them much easier. No way to add water or remove air from AIO though.

So that makes me think, was it on front with the pipes on top or something else. I have seen that video and heard about it million times in the comment section. I don't know why anyone didn't complain about the radiator possition sooner... Yet it started happening right after GamersNexus video. Funny right. No one, literally no one complained about the temperatures or issues with cooling if the radiator was in that position. Also, I don't have issue with his age (since you mentioned it), but his comment that he was building custom loops when I was 10yo is just absurd.

Depends. Do you live in a hot country? I'd be more worried about load temps tbh, along as it doesn't go well over 80/90 shouldn't be an issue.

Hi man, thanks a lot! Really appreciate it. Well if you don't want to have temps and gifs displayed, just go with the X73. That is the only difference. But performance wise it's a great purchase, especially if you have other NZXT products so you could control everything through NZXT CAM.

@@shoto_9 So I have build a Z690 Steel Legend with this exact model from 2020 and even though the holes aren't a perfect fit, I managed to make it work. Just fiddle around a bit. But I what I have found on their forums is this: "With the release of their new CPUs, Intel also introduced a new socket-the LGA 1700. This new socket requires changing the mounting system for our Kraken series of AIO CPU coolers. We've included this new bracket in all Kraken coolers we are manufacturing. Future Kraken units produced after 11/25/21 will include the new LGA 1700 bracket. Please keep in mind that retailers may have older units that still don't yet have the bracket. "

I think I need an NZXT fans controller for the setup too but I only have two USB 2.0 headers on the MB. The Kraken needs one, the controller needs one, the case's front I/O needs one, what's the best solution?

@@tran2489 Head to the "Lighting" tab in CAM, then press the "About Kraken Z3" button. From here, you'll be able to rotate the display to an angle that fits your setup better. The display can be rotated at +90 Degrees, +180 Degrees, or at -90 Degrees.

You can replace the fans with ANYTHING as long as they are 120mm fans (12cm). Any 120mm fan will fit on these coolers.

@@KhydroDjent I got the nzxt z53, that cpu cooler comes with 2 fans so I was wondering if I can change those stock fans with 3 new ones so like basically I can add 3 instead of having 2?

@@ernessto.l unfortunately not my guy. The z53 is a 240mm radiator so it can attach 2 fans max. The only size fans that they take are 120mm (12cm). So it will have come with 2 of those. There is no space on the radiator for a 3rd fan. You'll need the 360mm version to fit 3 fans on. Hope that helps mate.
