My dad made this song one of my core memories. He would frequently take my sister and I fishing, driving in his old Red Corsica, heading to Govenors Island in Madison, WI. Had the roll down windows, old cloth seats. I remember putting the worms on the hooks so vividly. Having him hold the fish and take them off the hook for me, with the rag he always carried in his tackle box. ❤️ my dad is still around and I tell him weekly how much he means to me and how much I love him.
