I really enjoyed that. Thank you. It is fascinating to watch someone play the harp. I know some of your other Carolan pieces and it was a delight to find yet another one.

Mark, this arrangement is pure magic - the sound of the harp and organ together is just gorgeous. Turlough would have been blown away by it.

Dear Mark, I keep coming back to this video since you posted it. It is so delightful to listen to, the organ sounds like a choir in some parts. Perfect tempo and swing, Turlough O'Carolan would have loved it. Thank you for sharing your music!

Thank you, Nadia! I was unsure about incorporating the organ but the sound just lends itself to this piece. It is really a sort of arrangement / improvisation but I had a lot of fun putting it together even under quite difficult circumstances at home as I have a relative shielding from the Corona virus, so was not easily able to access my music room.

As an amateur organist and newly aspiring harpist, I really love this and hope to do something like this in the future. Very well balanced between organ and harp. I could listen all day. I also use this sample set by Piotr occasionally, small but wonderful acoustic.

Hautbois d'Amour Thank you! Yes, that sample set is amazing. I think part of it is the low wind pressure, which gives it the most beautiful edginess and blend. Lovely to meet a fellow organist/harpist! And I think the plucked sound of the harp goes very well with instruments which sustain, such as the organ, cello, voice etc. You probably spotted that I gave it a bit of love in the section where the organ has a solo - I slightly upped the level of it. Partly that was because I had someone shielding in the room with the organ installation, and my pedal board decided not to play nice with me - but I had to do it in a real hurry, while the person was in another room eating.
