Advent carols trivia: this hymn is a paraphrase of "The Great O Antiphons" used from December 17-23 at Evening Prayer (Vespers) as an antiphon to the Magnificat in liturgical churches of the West. Each verse corresponds to one of the daily antiphons. The refrain echoes themes from The Third (rejoice!) and Fourth (Emmanuel) Sundays of Advent, just prior to the start of Christmastide, which starts on the evening of December 24.

Mary also needed a SAVIOUR....She was not a perpetual virgin (she was 'blessed' and all generations will call her 'blessed') and had at least six other children (four boys as recorded in the scriptures)..... JESUS said "I AM THE WAY THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH ME." It is very clear... and call NO ONE FATHER here on earth as you have only ONE FATHER IN HEAVEN. You incorrectly asume those are Mary's children when in those days it was customary to people calling themselves brothers. Luke 1 26 :31 clearly spells it out in the Prophecy " You will conceive and give birth to a son". It never said. She will have more than one son. You have been deceived like million others.

Keep in mind this is recorded in a studio and then they dub the sound at the performers out in the wilderness to get the video. The piano in the video may not be the piano as heard. All kinds of tricks to get a film this well done to happen and sound and look this good. Kudos to all the people involved to create this!!
