Lyric tenors don't need to cover on an F natural. F# is usually where lyric tenors cover. Most will sing F natural open.

@@depressedlarynx any tenor can sing an F4 open or closed depending on the piece they're singing. Sometimes an open sound is more appropriate. But in this piece I think a closed sound would better
