Brian O'Driscoll is a Legend and the number 1in the World!!!! This try is wonderful!!!"
@Ali7415 жыл бұрын
With O'Driscoll being the worlds best centre for 10 years, he showed again today for Lions his genius. Set up 2 tries, set up another for Monye who failed to put it down, set up Bowe which was disallowed for tough crossing call, he creates mayhem, just like he did to France in 2000 Six nations with hat trick in Paris 8 weeks after same French team outclassed and outskilled NZ in WC semi in an open game as they didnt have an O'Driscoll Had scrum gave O'Driscoll & Roberts parity ball, Lions win

He only recently turned 30, I wouldn't say he's "getting on", not as young as he used to be obviously, I still think is best years are ahead of him, aside from this year's Grand Slam of course.

@jkino7813 жыл бұрын
@92Knife . In order to roll away you need to be the tackler on the ground, for it to be a foul you need to be blocking the ball, he did neither. Side? Maybe the only thing you've got right there, but it would be nit-pick reffing. Yellows are normally reserved for collisions from the side as it's considered dangerous play. Yellow for offside would need to interfere with the play as a professional foul. Not the case here really. In my opinion, it had no bearing on the try, he didn't block anyone
@grayson90115 жыл бұрын
dont you just love chris whitikar with the vision to go blind side...but that skill is ridiculous by brian, one of the greats.
@SuckMyCurry15 жыл бұрын
Hes getting on abit now though, still an absoulte legend tho.
@jkino7813 жыл бұрын
@92Knife he didn't need to roll away as the ball was on his side, didn't block any defenders as he was on his knees so had no affect on the play whatsoever. At this point I'm wondering what you bothered to point it out for?

He created all the Lions tries save one in the First test, we lost in the Second when he went off. And if you watch any of the highlights on youtube he nearly always broke the line when the ball came his way, and defended to the point of concussion.
@mountnugent194914 жыл бұрын
if brian o driscoll was kiwi, they would be kissing sacred ground he wud walk on. he is the best player in the world!!!
@92Knife13 жыл бұрын
@jkino78 he joined the ruck from the side then lost his footing two infringments there, he also blocked defenders from joining the ruck from an offside position, a yellow card would be harsh but not uncalled for

I am in New Zealand, but even I find it very difficult to see why Richie McCaw gets so much credit these days. Outside of Dan Carter, I don't see many who deserve that accolade (when I find a more suitable forward, I'll throw it out there), yet O'Driscoll and Hanbana are on my list.
