O'Fallon Township Marching Band 2023 | JakeMusicMan Reacts

Hello Everyone!
Welcome back to another JakeMusicMan reacts. Today we are watching the O'Fallon Township High School marching band. They are located in O'Fallon Illinois.
Their show is called "Wednesday" and has a beautiful music and visual program. The Wednesday and Adams Family theme was a lot of fun. There was also some awesome moments with the color guard.
O'Fallon Township High School, BRAVO! What an incredible job. The level you guys perform at is absolutely incredible and you should all be so proud of that!
As far as achievements go, congratulations on:
- 1st place (Class 4A) and 2nd place overall at the St. Louis Super Regional
- 5th place overall at the Indianapolis Super Regional
- Grand Champions at the Illinois Marching Band Championships

The 13 hour band camp days was horrific for this show as well, but we got into box 5! Glad to break 90!!

I had the honor of watching O’fallon perform at the Eastern Illinois university marching band competition last year and it was amazing to say the least

I love your commentary. I’d like to see smaller groups represented as well. Possibly Sullivan High School, “Axis of Elton”. I thought their show this year was designed really well and was enjoyable to listen to.

one of the worse parts of this show was setting up and taking down the stages, i was the baritone soloist so you can imagine how hard it was to carry an instrument, a stage, and multiple microphones lmao

"i bet the flag and umbrella combo was terrible when it was windy" yes it was. Absolutely horrific. 0/10 would not reccomend for outdoor comps 😭 (p.s. the signifigance of the yellow in the ballad was because apparently in one episode of the original addams family Wednesday wore a yellow dress, but literally nobody knew about that so the yellow just felt random lol)

Ohhh okay that makes more sense! Oh my goodness, I can only imagine! We had a big flyover flag in high school and it was a nightmare during windy performances!
