you don't have to be host, not to lag you know? If you read the comments it says he receives the "strict firewall" msg, therefore cannot be host. this is the best sniper montage by far, you can tell he isn't host because of the trail the shot leaves, try it on private

my connection sucks in most matches lol, most of the time when I had good connection it was a rare find, or my friend was host who at least lives in the same state as me. And I don't know why people would complain about good connection believe me i deal with lagg all the time and i take advantage of the connections that actually lets me get the headshot when i shoot them in the head.

mainly yes blindfiring is luck. but if you get sort of a feel you can sort or anticipate whether or not the shot will be in maybe 80% of the direction you were hoping for. If not it will completely miss. But you can get a feel of where you will expect, if not hit the shot. but you are correct on what you said.
