In fixed speed non inverter models, O'General is selling two series- FUTC Series and BMW Series ( shown in your video ). Which one of the two would you recommend for a room of 320 sq ft ( kitchen and dining ) which is not completely sealed ( reason for selecting non-inverter) . FUTC offers higher tonnage but lower Star rating. No of blower swings is 6 in FUTC compared to 4 in BMW. Please share your opinion. Thank you.

This is not that AC which you saw in Kuwait, I also spent 8.5 yrs in Middle East, tha models used there are made in Thailand and equipped with Hypertrophical compressor which are known to perform in extreme weather conditions, this one is made in China and use tropical compressor instead of Hypertrophical, and this is the only made in China AC from entire split AC range of General ACs available in india, I mean, weakest product of General ACs in india.

@@MohitKumar-ri3yv Oh hello, I have been using 2 OGs since last 14 years at my residence in india, which are hypertrophical and non-inverter. I had worked in Saudi, Qatar from 2011 to 2020, used OG there as well. Haven't spent a single rupee on the name of repairing. Once in 2016, outside temperature exceeded 49 °C in my home city in india and still my hypertrophical AC provided excellent cooling and the AC of my neighbors kept tripping. I am chemical water treatment expert by profession and have very close interactions with HVAC systems (large central AC plant) for district cooling water chemical treatment as a part of my job, so I am sharing my experience here. Mitsubishi electric and mitsubishi heavy industries have better products than this particular model in similar price range. However, still the hypertrophical non-inverter OG is the king if someone can spend more money.

Yes, May be Gree is OEM of this model. But this is the only model in the entire General's split AC range which is made in PRC, the remaining all split ACs from General are completely designed and built by General in Thailand. That's why the quality of this particular model is not up to the benchmarks set by General. Gree is a better AC than carrier, lg, samsung, voltas etc. but it doesn't worth the price which they are asking. For that price, at any given day, I would buy MHI or General AC. Generally speaking, made in China is still acceptable from quality point of view as long as company origin is non-Chinese, but in case of Gree, brand it self is Chinese and manufacturing is also Chinese. No one will buy oneplus smartphone if it is similarly priced as Samsung S series or Apple's iphone. And people do understand that @ Rs. 50000+ price tag, Mitsubishi Electric/heavy industries/OG are better ACs than Chinese Gree. MHI which is 130+ years old Japanese brand who builds rockets, turbines and jet engines and Fujitsu (O'General) which is 80+ years old Japanese brands which is famous for making ACs that performs best in extreme weather conditions and highly durable don't need to learn energy saving from Gree. If Gree manufacturers highest energy saving AC, then it should reflect on their BEE labels, just talking is not enough. Crown of highest energy saving AC is with Daikin and MHI and it is visible on their BEE label as ISEER number.

Farook Ahmedbhai, baat aap ki sahi hay lakin 5 saal pcb ki warranty puri hote he agar pcb kharab ho gaya too pata chalega ki non-inverter AC kyu accha hay. Jo log 1.5 ton 3 star non-inverter AC 1 saal may 1000 hours use karte hay un ko 1000 hours use karne per 5 star inverter AC k muqable 1500 se 2000 rupay zyada bill aata hay. Too saalana 1500 se 2000 rupay bachane k liye har koi inverter AC k chakkar may kyu padega. 5 saal k baad jab bhi pcb kharab ho gaya tab itna kharch aayega ki banda naya AC he kharid lega. May Ogeneral non-inverter Thailand made AC pichle 13 sal se use karta hu, lagbagh 5 mahina har rooz 10 ghante chalta hay, saal me 1 baar 350 rupay wali service karwata hu, agar may chahu to woh bhi may khud kar sakta hu, iss k alawa 1 rupiya bhi maine kharcha nahi kiya hay, calculate karoge to pata chalega ki AC ab tak 19-20 hazzar ghante chalega chuka hoga, agar inverter AC hota to ab tak jawab de chuka hota bhale he 5 years pcb warranty wala hoo.
