I really appreciate your comment, especially as you are Brazilian. I didn't consistently use the authentic bossa nova rhythm in this arrangement, but instead wanted to capture something of the bossa nova style but with much more freedom.

Oh boy! Another arrangement by Mr. Austin! Will I buy it? Of course! Personally Tom Jobim is one of my all time composers and performers. The fast pace of this arrangement is quite different from other more dreamy and rubato styles, but I like this version just as well. Thanks, Rupert, so much for this.

Thanks to Oleg for the description. Quite a few people have asked about this. The resulting sound from the Synthogy Ivory American Concert D is highly dependent on many software settings. It took me quite some effort to get the "dreamy and mellow" sound you mentioned. I plan to upload a brief video soon that will show all the settings.

To some extent reminded me of "Manhã do Carnaval (Black Orpheus)", which I like to play. noviscore.com/piano-sheet-music-manha-do-carnaval-black-orpheus Although, Expert Level is quite challenging, and I practice rarely and not enough.

Yes, there is a lot of similarity with Manha de Carnaval. Similar mood and both use Bm7b5 / E7 / Am7 very frequently.

@@rupertaustin I once had a discussion with them. I told them that everywhere the name is written as "de", and they have "do" Carnaval. But they claim that "do" is correct, that it is so in the source. I dont know.

I wrote to them that "do" is most likely wrong, since the Internet is mostly "de", and I have not seen "do". And they answered that "do" is correct, since it is so in the original. I don't know what original they were talking about. But I still write "de" for my score.
