For those of us handicapped by being anglophones only, based on google translate, I *think* the lyrics are taken from a Hafiz poem that has one translation start "Dervish laid a trap." sattor com has a translation posted. If I am wrong, someone who knows better please correct me.

Hafez is very hard to find. Rumi is the most tranliterated Persian poet (to English). If you love poetry, God, Pslams, or Sufis, Hafez is an amazing find. They were amazing mystics. Thanks for the share!

there's a large persian population where i live - north vancouver, BC. i moved here ten years ago, and hung out with fellow white kids. one night me and my friend were jumped and injured by a so-called persian "gang".for absolutely no reason, other than for their fun. i held a huge grudge for a long time against iranians. until i met siavash two years later. what sia taught me is that there is truly no better people in the world. they're always quick to offer you food, a loan, a ride, whatever.
