​@@Aalanfu As per my knowledge and my pov : E = mc², here the 'c' denotes the speed of light in vaccum which is constant and the speed is faster in vaccum due to no particles in vaccum so no problem in the special relativity theory and,yes speed of light changes in different medium,becoz light is a transverse wave electro magnetic wave which has a particle photon that has no mass ,the photon particle colloid with the particles of the medium that reduces the speed and creates change in speed,also when we see light due to the changes in different medium a phenomenon refraction takes place.
