O.J. SIMPSON HAS PASSED AWAY | Double Toasted - Today we are talking about a celebrity death that out of most deaths that we've talked about on our channel, this may be one of the most interesting to discuss considering the legacy that this man has left behind in regards to what he's gone away with, and how uncomfortably weird he's acted ever since. Whether it's verdict reactions, the glove scene in the court room, the live chase broadcasted all over the news, Nicole Brown Simpson, every documentary that has touched on the story of OJ Simpson, and more - there is just A LOT to discuss about this man and we do it all HERE!

I'm a white guy who went to a predominantly black school. I was 11 years old when the verdict was read and we watched it live in our 6th grade classroom. I remember me and pretty much all of my classmates cheering! But we were just a bunch of dumb kids. At that age and in those times, entertainment trained us to think being found "not guilty" was always a victory. I didn't even know who OJ Simpson was at the time outside of the murder trial. Our teacher was probably biting her tongue, telling herself that we just didn't know any better. It's a very weird thing to look back on.

This man literally took his lies to the grave. Never forget that awkward period where he tried to make it on Twitter. This man’s rise and fall is so fascinating to look at. From the news reports to the court case, to the book literally titled “(if) I Did It” and even the American Crime Story season retelling the events and the three part Documentary series. Also the pop cultural impact of the many jokes and parodies that came from it as well. It’s safe to say that for the last 30 years, his reputation is forever tarnished. Even after all those times where he would “prove his side” of the story, or claiming he’ll find the real killer, or poke fun at it or make jokes about it, people will still never see OJ Simpson the same way ever again. Even long after he’s dead, nobody’s gonna remember his football career or his short lived acting career. That double murder that he got away with will always be what people remember him from.

OJ was 100% not guilty! There were so many factors pointing to him not doing it from; 1. The Mezzaluna restaurant being a hangout spot of Nicole's, which was full of mob boss corruption, had several waiters working there who were killed in similar fashion, 2. (which would be the icing on the cake for the case) Nicole’s phone records, that were blocked for obvious reasons, showing Nicole on the phone with her mother during the same time that OJ was on the way to Chicago which means that she was still alive when he left town. That's just two points out of SEVERAL that prove he didn't do it and I haven't even mentioned racist Mark Fuhrman! #Innocent #CaseClosed

News of his passing came out of nowhere. I didn't know he had cancer. Seems only people who followed him on Twitter knew what was going on with his health. I think it was terminal (stage 4). He was told he had a few months to live at best. Rather than upset his fanbase he decided not to reveal the truth about how sick he was. Now that he is gone no doubt, he leaves behind a legacy that is not favorable. O.J. never showed any sign of grief for Nicole. If he was innocent there is no way he would have been able to clown around the way he did in the years following the trial.

Apparently the reason OJ wasn’t picked to play the Terminator was because the studio didn’t think audiences could buy him as a villain back then. Really goes to show how much his trial turned people’s views of him upside-down. It’s also worth noting that Ron Goldman’s family somehow gained the rights to that “If I Did It” book prior to publication so that a lot of the royalties from it went to them, and they also had the cover designed so that the word “if” is harder to see than the rest of the title.

I forgot it wasn't just Nicole he was accused of killing. I was really young when it was all going down, but remember how divided people were over him, especially among the black community and sports community which i'm sure Korey got into. Naw, it wasn't Rodney king. It was more hatred for the LAPD which was awful at the time. That and Natasha Hawlins (to which I'm sure you don't know who that is). Plus, OJ is one black dude who cheated the system. I'm personally affected by white people cheating the system. My great grandmother was lynched in Mississippi. Which left my grandmother at 12 to take care of her younger brother and sister. And no ones found justice or cares. There's no record of death. So excuse me if black people basically just did what white folks do daily. Not care about the moral justice of those that don't look like them. Is oj a murderer. Yes. Do I care. Nope. Because plenty of white people turn a blind eye to unlawful or unjust murdered black folks. And until white folks start not letting go of Emmitt Till like they do oj. I'm not changing my stance. But he IS the PRIME EXAMPLE---OF "A GOOD BLACK MAN, A GOOD BLACK FATHER." For some thirty years, he became UNEMPLOYABLE. He lost a LOT of people he considered "friends." O.J. Simpson allowed the WORLD to attack HIM, beat up on HIM, despise HIM----INSTEAD OF HIS SON JASON----who was THE REAL KILLER! Every single bit of evidence pointed to Jason, but once they allowed the media to take pictures-----prematurely, I might add----of them putting handcuffs on O.J., the D.A. and LAPD were screwed! They began "concocting evidence", "finding evidence", using "tainted evidence"...etc. Why was JASON all scratched up from his neck, shoulder, chest and all up and down HIS arms, right after the murders? This was what A SNIPER SAID HE SAW through the scope on his gun while waiting on Al Cowlings and OJ to return to OJ's house. (you can find the video here on YT) JASON suffered mental health issues and suffered from "RAGE disorder." JASON pulled a knife on MULTIPLE PEOPLE and threatened them, including lopping off an ex-girlfriend's ponytail. JASON had been OFF his medications for almost two months BEFORE THE MURDERS. JASON was even missing several of his "Chef's knives" from his set. There's just too much evidence pointing to Jason. I'd bet dollars to donuts JASON flew into a rage, killed them both and then called Daddy---to fix it all---which is how O.J. got involved. That's why the traffic cam picked up O.J. speeding towards Nicole's house AFTER the guy jogging heard a commotion at Nicole's condo; a condo 5-10 mins. FROM Jason's apartment and job. So at least O.J. "gave back" THAT young Black man's life to him. Jason has spent the last 30 years FREE----to change, not to change, to get better, to get worse, etc. TO LIVE HIS LIFE. But his father's legacy will forever be tarnished BECAUSE OF JASON'S ACTIONS.

The civil suit happened before the trial, and Johnnie Cochran tried to get postponed until after the trial because it would hurt their case, but the judge still proceeded. So they knew he was going to lose the civil suit. This shows the racism in America because if a black man gets found not guilty of a murder he is still guilty. The reason he didn't pay the civil suit is not because he went to Vegas it's because they couldn't touch his retirement income. If they made any extra money, they could, but he was smart enough to get paid under the table. For example, the million dollar home he stayed in, his friend, bought it for him.

If OJ killed his first black wife everyone would have turned on him. On the other hand, Marguerite defended him from the murders. He said he wasn't abusive to her. I wonder if it's a case of bad judgement but I think it's better she stays away from the spotlight.

To be brutally honest, if he unalived his Black wife, most people wouldn’t have cared as much. The salaciousness behind this double murder was a beautiful blonde and her handsome companion being unalived by a black celebrity man. No one cares if a black middle aged housewife gets killed. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I'm close in age to Korey and can honestly say, I NEVER believed O.J. did it; NOT back then nor now. The pieces didn't add up to him being the guilty party. And I've NEVER been a fan of Simpson, either as an athlete or an actor. I've certainly never believed Simpson to be 'NOT GUILTY' ---"BECAUSE" he's "Black." That's just idiotic! It doesn't make sense. ONE + ONE = JELLO?? NOPE! **ONLY ONE person blamed Nicole Brown Simpson (henceforth referred to as "NBS") for the breakup of his parents marriage but at the same time, b/c she was partying with him and his friends on the weekends, he ALSO had an "Oedipal Complex." **ONLY ONE OTHER PERSON (other than O.J.) NBS called the cops on----MULTIPLE TIMES---AND NAMED IN THOSE CALLS, saying, "She was afraid of him." **ONLY ONE person lived and worked within FIVE-TEN minutes drive to NBS's condo. **ONLY ONE person had been embarrassed BY NBS----THAT VERY NIGHT---when she failed to show up to a "special dinner" this person had prepared FOR HER....and her entourage. THIS PERSON told their bosses and co-workers that NBS was arriving and bringing clientele to their almost empty restaurant. Instead she (and subsequently, her party) chose to dine at ANOTHER eatery; the one where Ron Goldman worked as a waiter and small-time drug-dealer. ***ONLY ONE person disappeared and had unaccounted for time during the murders. ***ONLY ONE person was ACTIVELY working as a "COOK/CHEF" at the time of the murders, so he OWNED A SET OF KNIVES. ***ONLY ONE person was MISSING SEVERAL KNIVES FROM THEIR KNIFE SET! ***ONLY ONE person's job, a restaurant, closed EARLY that night due to lack of patronage. Again, this restaurant was only 5-10 min from NBS's condo. **ONLY ONE person had an EXTENSIVE HISTORY of mental health problems, having been hospitalized NUMEROUS times over the course of their life. ***ONLY ONE person suffered from "RAGE DISORDER," sometimes, suffering "BLACKOUT RAGE EVENTS." ***ONLY ONE person HAD BEEN OFF HIS RAGE DISORDER MEDS FOR 6 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE MURDERS. ***ONLY ONE person had NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, NOT EVEN THREE TIMES----BUT FOUR TIMES PREVIOUSLY---USED HIS "SERRATED BLADED WORK KNIFE" TO THREATEN OTHERS---including cutting the ponytail off a previous girlfriend and holding a butcher-knife to the throat of a former boss and was both jailed AND hospitalized for this? ***ONLY ONE person was seen by TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE: HIS GIRLFRIEND AND THE SNIPER WAITING AT O.J.'S HOUSE AFTER THE BRONCO CHASE----TO HAVE HAD SCRATCHES AND BRUISES ALL OVER HIS NECK, BACK, SHOULDERS, UPPER AND FOREARMS AND CHEST. ***ONLY ONE person was at O.J.'s house--- TWICE after it was cleared by SWAT---TWICE on the day of the infamous Bronco car chase. (Guilty conscience, perhaps?) ***ONLY ONE PERSON WAS YOUNG ENOUGH, STRONG ENOUGH, FAST ENOUGH AND CAPABLE ENOUGH, "IN A RAGE ENOUGH"---TO TAKE OUT A TWENTY-SOMETHING YEAR OLD KARATE EXPERT AND NBS----AT THE SAME TIME! (...AND NOT SOME OLD, SLOW, LUMBERING, ARTHRITIC, BUSTED UP, BROKEN DOWN, ELDERLY, FORMER ATHLETE IN HIS 50's!) ***NOW PLEASE NAME------THE ONLY PERSON----A PARENT----IS WILLING TO LOSE THEIR LIVELYHOODS FOR, LACK A MEANS GOING FORWARD TO EARN MONEY TO SUPPORT HIMSELF & HIS FAMILY FOR, GO ON TRIAL AND "POSSIBLY" LOSE HIS FREEDOM ---OR EVEN THEIR LIFE FOR...BE SCORNED, RIDICULED, HUNTED UNTIL THE DAY THEY DIE FOR???? WHO---IS THE ONLY PERSON A PARENT WOULD BECOME "THE MOST HATED IN THE NATION" FOR...???***

It's like people are recreating history. The states case had so many gaping holes. Witnesses not used because they didn't align with the prosecution's timeliness. The lead detective plead the 5th when asked if he tampered with evidence. All we hear is people saying innocent until proven guilty. Apparently not in this case with some people.

I personally think investigation was botched like if imma be honest there was damning evidence like blood in the car and socks and etc and since the lead detective is known racist you could argue he tainted the evidence with the bloody glove and again nicoles blood in the car and his socks and hair fibers since he pleaded the 5th on planting evidence and then the prosecutors stopped using the DV angle and juror’s majority being black kinda was a bad idea specifically in that time period of LA riots i personally think he murdered them he had every motive he was controlling he was violent during their marriage and killing Goldman was to keep silence Ron showed up at the wrong time
