Are you in FB group Yakinawa? I post open invites from time to time. Link up with me on the FB or Instagram and I’ll let you know the next time I’m heading to Nakajin!

I always enjoy watching videos from Okinawa!! I'd be happy if we could swing the jig together on the ship someday🙆

Yes! I do not do boats very often. What type of jigging do you normally do?

How deep are kayak fisherman going out there? 300-400’? Do you ever target tuna/mahi?
@OkinawaKayakFishing3 ай бұрын
I’ll happily take a yellowfin as a by-catch but never target them. If I see the Mahi I usually turn and go the other way. 🤣. No, mahi are fun to catch but then I’ll release. The meat is fantastic as Sashi while fresh. A lot of sharks in with the mahi and just don’t like the hassle. As for the depth in the spring, summer and fall, the best range right now is about 120-200ft. I am just addicted to the deep and prefer areas with ridge-lines around 650’.
