It's amazing how Jonas Kaufmann brings everything he sings to life, using vocal expression and acting skills even in a concert setting. This is brilliant. He's got the most gorgeous voice, and with that smouldering look he gave Camilla Nylund I'm surprised she didn't melt on the spot. He gets really into character. This music is glorious. Fantastic! ❤

Wunderbar.

Perfect for him, at this stage of his voice. Now, would you please stop singing Nessun dorma, and Otello? Thank you. And who is the soprano, please?

Jonas is a great singer, he is excellent in everything he sings. He does not have to be del Monaco. Camilla Nylund.

LOL yeah I know what you mean by singing Nessun Dorma and Otello..not the least bit "Verisimo" at this point

Camilla Nylund is right for this, too. But also see the production, full-scale, at Munich, with the great Anja Harteros. @@baritoneblazzin1965

Für mich wäre es gut, viel mehr vom Orchester zu sehen. Die Fixation auf die Sänger scheint mir bei Wagner nicht angezeigt.

Wagner himself loved beautiful voices, the first Tristan who died shortly after the premier was a famous great young tenor. Wagner loved to sing his operas himself - to a circle of friends :)

Wagner, he was Franz Lizts ,s Son in Law. Wagner married FL,s daughter. I forgot her name. Wagner was a great music composer. He had some good creations. He had some military machine songs.maybe Hitler liked him too! He was the pride of German nation. Tristan & Isolde was a beautiful love story. It had played on movies & stages and shows. Those were many moons ago. Ck Google for my information. I was a profesisional librarian by trade. That was why I Know about literature & the big Komputers!german call computer with K. Warum? Why? It is interesting to know the reasons, if they have to do with Tristan u. Isolde.
