Looks like it was quite the operation! Cutting over and back between the two points of view worked very nicely! Bart.

It is fascinating Bob, isn't it? This was a work of art, with very limited siding space, and was really interesting to watch and capture with multiple cameras. It's also good to do something different from the usual main line run-pasts as well!

Thanks, glad you enjoyed that. It was a long and bruising day for me. :)

Thanks Bart... I've been upping my game recently, the Hero3 with extended battery pack is great for cutaways, especially with the Wi-Fi for monitoring and the 4 hour battery life.

Something I've been fortunate to capture several times Mike...The Big Shunt when stock needs to be marshalled....Regards...Bob

Hopefully we'll get a chance when the 80 class is finally withdrawn. I've got many happy memories of travelling home in the driving trailer after work, with the power car at the far end of the train, bouncing gently on the suspension and those great big spring seats on the jointed track. Top position was the seat right behind the cab on the left, plenty of legroom and you could hear everything that went on in the cab!

It'll be good when that 70 class coach is back in action. Such a shame that it's the only remaining example of its kind. :(
