The Luther College Nordic Choir, conducted by guest conductor Jeffrey Douma of Yale University, performing O Lord God by Pavel Chesnokov (1877-1944).
Written by Pavel Chesnokov, the anthem O Lord God has served as the traditional benedictory piece for the Luther College Nordic Choir since 1948. It is also tradition to invite alumni from the audience to join and sing the piece as seen here.
Recorded live at Nordic Choir's 2017 Winter Tour Homecoming Concert, February 7, 2017, in the Center for Faith and Life at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

I sang in the Mormon Youth Chorus, in Salt Lake City, in my twenties We performed a Russian Convert. We sang this song! Oh how our choir loved it. I could feel the tender, encouraging love of our Savior as we sang praise to Him. God bless you everyday

How beautiful, peaceful, and Spiritually uplifting "Oh Lord God!" The performance was more than that. As the camera was panning the beautiful faces of the participants, I immediately discerned that this was more than a performance . I certainly have been Spiturally uplifted. I can only imagine what it was like experiencing it live ! All the empty seats had no effect on that most gracious moment. Thank you for for sharing this.

If the lord god knew that cain murdered able, why didn't he restore abels life to him? I mean, he had this power to make people so why not just give him his life back? Also, I do not believe that life is created... the laws of physics state matter cannot be created... is it possible that life is simply a perpetuation?

I can't answer the question about Able. If God created the universe out of nothing(Big Bang, anyone?), then He surely created the laws of physics. Given that, He is above them and can do whatever He wants. God created man from the dust of the earth, so to speak. He used more basic existing matter to create a complex form in Adam. He used part of Adam to create Eve. God changed earth into flesh, just as Jesus would later change water into wine. God has infinite power and infinite knowledge. These transformations are fairly trivial to Him. I say fairly trivial as He did rest on the 7th day after creating everything. Maybe not because He had to, but rather to admire what He had done. It's also an example to us to rest occasionally.

@@jtenorj Do you know what I know? The things in the bible are impossible and there has not been a miracle-Let's take a few things-1. It literally takes about 7 days to walk from Egypt to the "Promised land" Ie, the bloodiest land in all the world. 30 years? LOL. That's a lot of time... Do you think that acutally happened? HOw about noahs ark? All those animals in one boat for that long would really be hard to manage... where did their food come from? Did they live off eachothers urine and poop? What about light deprevation? Would that kill the animals? How would one distribute the weight of the animals properly that they dont move AT ALL and stay still for that long? EVERYTHING in the bible should be questioned and people purposefully wrote that to attract people they could control and manipulate-If you believe that, you would believe anything.
