I didn't know that was notoriously an Iowa thing. haha I definitely know what you mean though!! I think I have scared people off at times because I crave the deeper talks. Small talk is so often just empty words and life is too short not to have the real stuff!! It's always worth it to push through the seeming awkwardness to get there.
