Superb explanation and repair! I have to confess I haven’t had a new car in a long time! 😂 Im amazed to see parts like the one you just replaced on a late model Ford! In the past they would just give you all the boost without regard if you would have vacuum assist or not 😂!!! Ford has come a long way ❤

Nice vid, Ive been beating my head against the wall on this thing for a year now, my factory one started leaking, so I put a new gasket in it, yes, with the silicone in the right spots, soon it started leaking, so I bought a whole new pump with a new gasket, put that in, with silicone in the right spots, and it began to leak, so at this point Im not sure what to try, just been letting it leak, eventually it leaks onto the exhaust and stinks.. ugh

I had a similar issue on my Escape. After changing the oil cooler gasket 4 times, I decided to RTV it, even though it's not supposed to have it. It hasn't leaked since.

I looked at this and thought it could potentially be the same type of situation. How long are you going before it starts leaking again?

@ yeah. I’m going to buy another new gasket and rtv it on. Hope that cures it.

I was wondering what happened! The leadframe isn't too bad of a job. The only 6R80 video that I've done is a fluid change though... Are you getting codes for it?
