My suggestion for the way forward. If Iwo indigenous people are not living up to the bidding, the entire Yoruba race should stand in to sanitise the Yoruba territories. If we're awaiting clannish territorial fight, another place will emerge in violation and result in disorganisation of more trouble than expected. The Yoruba tribe should stand together for this fight and refuse to be intimidated. The politicians should be excluded because they will desire to implant interests in the outcome.

I think we should go back in history, i think around the 80s , the Awujale of ijebu land went to perform hajj and returned to spite the tradition, the people and Govt went against it and reverse is the case. Something sinister is behind Oluwos proclamation, be aware that Ogun State passed and signed a law that states that an Oba can/must be buried according to his religious faith irrespective of the tradition of the he ruled. Oluwo should be stopped now and the Law in Ogun state should be repealed. We have seen what happened at the installation of Soun Ogbomosho, such law is likely to play out again. It should be concretise that any traditional ruler who'll not surrender to the tradition should vacate the throne because his forebears who were there never subscribe to this borrowed/imported tenets.
