Bag limit of 10 hairtail person with a rod. $5000 PENALTYespecially if you have more stock in your car and at home. Just fish your limit please. Asian people getting bad wrap cause some greedy asian breaking the rules.

Great content how to catch fish.. But showing off bag limit is no no. That's breaking our fishing law and rules. Limit of 10 hairtail person with a rod. Im sure some put away more in their car esky and probably more stock catch at home freezer. If this is your situation, fishery will fine you $5000 and more. Please do the right thing. Stop giving a bad wrap for the Asian Fishmen. Especially in the Hunter the rangers take photos of stock and their are for hours to take more evidence, load more to car esky. May be the photo of the catches was a result of more than one person in the group if this the case you gotta say that at the start. Tight lines everyone.

Manny Love they dont stick to the limits this is newcastle nsw i belive and 99 percent of them dont speak any english and catch as many as they want and keep every thing they catch and its really annoying how many undersized fish they keep i bet they dont have fishing licences either i really thi g fisheries need to stop the way they are fishing for them and come down hard on them for what they do wrong or they will wipe out our fish

There are close to 40 fish in one of your pics. If a fish is say 3kg's.. that's almost 120 kgs,, a whole lamb at my butcher shop is around 14kgs. I fish alot and only take back what I'll eat for one for days.. 80% of the time I throw it all back regardless of the size. We need to think about sustainability and preserving the fish population rather than keeping fridge full of fish. This will ensure that others and our future generation will have the catch to enjoy both as a sport and table fish. It's just not at Newcastle, it's everywhere.. when we're polite about keeping undersized or overfishing the most annoying part we get is "me no speak English". It's hard for individuals like us who try to preserve nature so we can come back and catch a monster fish when the river systems are being overfished by many people.

Manny Love well spoken they dont just do this every now and then it is every single day what they dont show you is all the under sized fish that are kept it makes me sick i have seen a decrease of fish in Newcastle were they fish because they take everything it really needs to stop i do the same as you i only keep what i can eat 1 or 2 days then the rest go back
