I don't understand how people can make the argument that "Well Beat Freaks killed it every week so they should have won, Quest only beat them this week". First off, Quest killed it too. The only weeks I liked BF better than quest was 5 and 6. Every other week, Quest was either better or they were tied for entertainment. So all you feminists out there need to let that go Second, ABDC works just like the NBA. Doesn't matter who's more "consistent" you have to BRING IT every week, especially if you make the Play Offs. You can't go hard the first few weeks and then slack off during your most important week. Defend them if you want, but anyone can tell that BF got too comfortable in this week and didn't see the need to go hard like their past weeks since they most likely thought they already had it in the bag. Im not saying they're arrogant or full of themselves, but you can tell they slacked. Comfort Zone or not, this performance (like Lil Mama Pointed out) wasn't their best and could have been much better. Finally, People are like "Quest only won caz of the flip at the end". Lol. What? Quest won because they're Decathalon and Last Chance blew BF out of the water. If this was a Rating Show, BF would score like a 60 / 100 while Quest got like a 95. They knew it was the last chance to get people on their side caz they knew people were going to vote for BF and like Shane told them, the BF were on their butts. They stepped it up , brought it, amazed the shit out of people, and proved that they wanted it HARD.

How so??? Beatfreakz killed all of the following leaving Quest Crew in the dust. Week 1 auditions. Week 3 Britney Spears challenge. Week 5 Magic challenge. And week 6 with the epic Katy Perry challenge. So yeah, best of the season was Beatfreakz followed by Quest Crew.

Week 1 both Quest and BeatFreakZ killed it, week 2 was weaker for both of them but they still did well, both brought it again week 3 (apparently you forgot how they worked it with blindfolds), week 4 Quest did better while week 5 and 6 BeatFreakz had the better performance then Quest COMPLETELY destroyed them in the last 2 performances. Also if you pay attention to the challenges they were given, BeatFreakz ALWAYS had the easier challenge Week 2 - planking, they're bgirls so implementing that should've been easy Week 3 - Dance sexy or like women? Oh soooo hard while Quest had to dance with blindfolds Week 4 - The Carlton which compared to what everyone had was not really a "wack" dance Week 5 - They had the best trick and the best prop, no set up required and could do the trick as many times as they wanted, everyone else's trick required a setup and could only be done once during the routine, at least Quest created a story for their trick So I mean, I guess you could argue that BeatFreakz did better, but it's not that hard to do better when you're literally given no real challenges throughout the whole season and when BeatFreakZ was given the SAME challenge as everyone else, they fumbled, hell even Fly Khicks did better than them in the Decathalon challenge (their tutting was kind of lame but at least they attempted something unique with it, aside from that one peel away, their tutting was even more basic and this is supposed to be an area they're good at as opposed to Fly Khicks, same thing with waving, I only saw actual waving when 2 of them solo'd, as a group it never happened, then we go to their housing, which was just as much spinning as their was housing). If there's any challenge to show which crew has the best and most well rounded dancers, it's this challenge and Quest completely killed every style while BeatFreakz couldn't even kill a single one.

Alden Bunag We can agree to disagree. I didn't forget Quest Crew in the Magic Challenge. But Beatfreaks did beat them that week. In fact ABDC aired that particular performance as one of the top 10 of all time. As for the rest. I can see what you are saying. And there was no doubt that Quest Crew slaughtered them in the finals. I remember watching and saying after both of their dances "Way to go Beat Freaks you were just out danced when it mattered most". But that doesn't take away the fact that I feel in my opinion Beat Freaks was better over all. I love Quest too. Who doesn't? But they do have a lot of mess ups in their performances and somehow they always pull it through in a clutch. They did it in Season 3 and this past All Star Season. On a side note. Striker All-Stars had the best Britney challenge performance with Beatfreakz a close 2nd. And Striker did have the best fitness challenge performance as well. Anywho, thanks for talking about this. It's nice to converse with people who care enough to go into a deeper discussion about it. I respect your opinions. :)

Lipsmacker6 I'm not saying that BeatFreakz didn't have a better performance, it was definitely an amazing one but again, do you think it would've been just as amazing if they were forced to use a magic trick like what the other 4 had? While they were definitely consistent, I did notice that their challenges compared to the others was always easier to use and execute. I honestly thought both of them were equally consistent, which is why they constantly traded places for top vote each week which is why them dropping the ball in the final week made the final decision easy when it should have been a tough choice. Season 7 and All Stars were the only seasons where I felt like the winner wasn't obvious (8 Flavahz got screwed over though but whatever). I agree that Strikers had the best Britney performance but Quest's Toxic was much more impressive to me than BF's Womanizer, especially with the challenge in mind. Same, I (somewhat) miss the show although knowing stuff like what happened with 8 Flavahz (actually winning but MTV giving it to Electrolytes because they didn't want to deal with the liability and legalities of working with minors) and even bringing up how BeatFreakz had much easier challenges compared to the others makes the show less genuine, that's why I just stick with Hiphop International and World of Dance (I hope the dance team I'm with decides to do WOD again).

The floating ball was the magic trick. So I guess I'm a bit confused when you say that BF didn't do any magic. WOD videos are my favorite. Have you seen DM Nation? And I had no idea that season 7 was rigged. I was very disappointed when Electrolytes won. 8 Flavahs Vogue routine is one of the best performances ever. Electrolytes by far the weakest crew winner ever.

The reason they didn't win was because of the final week. Quest Crew brought it HARD the final week, and I mean they pulled out all the stops. Y'all have to realize that ABDC works like playoffs or tournaments. Unfortunately, its not the OVERALL performances but its week by week, "game by game" as we would say in sports. Yes Beat Freakz were amazing, and they were one of the most consistent groups ever on ABDC. But unlike Quest, they didn't bring it that hard week 7.

Honestly, I can't even choose between Quest and Beat freaks in their overall performances for this season. They should have been in different seasons like Season 2 and season 4. Easy gold for Beat freaks.
