Ollie Lawrence is an absolute powerhouse. So happy to see him flourishing under this new regime... Here's hoping the improvements keep happening!

Brings me so much joy seeing ollie in camp, cant imagine the fear of not getting a shot when your form is red-hot, can definetly see him having potential to contest world player centre level

Loved seeing Smith in good spirits at the end and getting involved in the crack. Shows it more about the team than individuals. That’s a great mindset to have if you’re a team needing cohesion and progression!

The centre partnership we've been waiting for - love it! Think Faz played great excluding kicking from the tee. Got to make a tough decision to hand kicking duties to someone else soon cos leaving 10ish points out there is gonna be punished by the likes of Ireland/France. On to next round lads!

7:22 Farrell: "We said we were going to FIGHT for everything for each other - so the FIGHT's non-negotiable" ... you can see why he is so highly rated as a leader... I just hope he can take his club form to England.

Exactly, word class leader. Just not on the form he once was.

You just get the vibe that this group will get better and better. So good to finally see England using the backs again and actually running the ball. Still kicking a bit too much for my liking. Onwards and upwards, bring on France

So good to see Ollie back in the fold after his unfair treatment by EJ. He's much more than just a Tuilagi bish-bosh merchant - see his great jackal in front of the England posts! Just hope he is given the chance to establish himself in the number 12 jersey. He is a centre; Farrell is not.

The manner in which Wales are playing at the moment a team of 7-year olds could have won this game. Wooden Spoon year for Wales.
@mikemorris4548 Жыл бұрын
Bit below the belt that, but yh, the way Wales go off about rugby, sadly, they deserve to lose, when they believe they should win!, which is most the time! Arrogance and big headedness bring you down!
@Danimal13 Жыл бұрын
Loving the Lawrence and Slade relationship on and off the pitch just a shame Farrell isn’t giving them any ball to work their magic, let Smith play and he will get the best from not only those two but the whole back line, stop this negative kicking rugby, play to our strengths, show some ambition
@iBMRaGiNBuLLz Жыл бұрын
Yeah it’s definitely all Farrells idea, nothing to do with the coaching… Also he is giving them ball?
@Danimal13 Жыл бұрын
@@iBMRaGiNBuLLz you do realise they aren’t robots and aren’t completely controlled and given license to play when it’s on, its Farrell who still decides to kick and he even kicked when we have a 3 man overlap 😂 I remember Lawrence only getting crash balls which he can do a lot more and I don’t actually remember Slade having the ball with any time to do anything so no he’s not giving them proper ball, yes that’s the game plan from Borthwick but again Farrell has the right to play when he sees fit just chooses not to
@liams2033 Жыл бұрын
Great stuff but we can’t pretend these are nearly as good as they used to be under Eddie
@joeboonmusic4004 Жыл бұрын
Give it time man... Players like Lawrence were picked and dropped under EJ so this is already an improvement... We have better discipline and the rest will come in time, don't forget they've played 3 games under this new regime.
@jonnybaynham1689 Жыл бұрын
Under Eddie 7 years ago when he inherited a young but already tenured team under Lancaster and grew it. But then that team deflated and Jones' employment ended with a team that were ill disciplined, reckless, and poor in the stats at most things In just 4 weeks Borthwick has at least instilled much greater discipline, more solid set piece, and better defence than last year. So we're moving forward

Don't know why they are so cocky , they haven't beaten any team of note yet.
@joeboonmusic4004 Жыл бұрын
Cocky? It's called backing your team. They're rebuilding under a new setup and are seeing improvements, what would you do? Mope around? If any other team did it it'd be fine, but with England it's always cockiness apparently... Big ol' chip on your shoulder.
@oliverallan81 Жыл бұрын
Do you want some ketchup for those chips on your shoulders?
@chrismcgowan5180 Жыл бұрын
Agree. This 'rebuilding' tripe. They are professional rugby players for all of their adult life, really poor considering the resources and talent English rugby has. Bin Farrell and we will see the wins rolling in
