To me his best of his best are Varagha Nadhikara, a ‘Carnatic qawwali’ from Sangamam, that brilliant title track of Thenali, the playful mastery of Uppukaravadu and the classical melancholy of Yennasolla pogirai… Love his contribution to Indian music even outside his ARR discography…Thank you @O2India

ARR shows used to be so much fun with shankar ji, chitra ji, alka ji, hariharan ji, SPB ji. Nowadays ARR sings most of the songs and new bunch of mediocre singers. Shweta mohan, shreya, jonita, shashaa, are great choices. Somehow ARR has lost his magic at his peak. It is expected as grace band is limited to a few years. Rarely does a memorable song emergency. Shankar Mahadevan ji is so knowledgeable and humble
