Some fantastic trees in Sherwood Forest, your videos always make me want to visit (even though it would be a fair drive up for me). I have a week off in October so maybe it could be good to capture autumn in full swing. The last image was my favourite, that old oak in your composition was showing bags of character.

There is indeed, just under 1000 ancient Oaks spread around. If you do visit & would like a few pin points on a Google map I'd be happy to forward you something to consider Julian 👍🏻 The main nature reserve has much to see though, its a safe bet to grab some shots of Autumn (especially dawn & dusk). The trees fascinate me, some days their flat and difficult to compose yet others they just seem to pop off the page 🙂 .. I never know what I'm going to find despite visiting often.
