Last night for office gifts I made a doormat and tumbler. Another gift I made from the O&L videos of the last year was a personalized umbrella. Thanks ladies for a year of great ideas!

I made a design for the acreage my parents bought a few years ago using the river nearby and I put it on a welcome mat this last spring. My dad loves it so much he asked me to edit the design so he could put it on stickers. I'm thinking he might like a custom keychain now?

Nothing wrong with craft store felt…. Some people don’t want to spend the money on all the luxury materials, especially felt when you can get it at an affordable price at the craft store.

We totally understand not having the money to spend on these types of materials, and we're glad there are cheap options available! :) That being said, craft store felt sheets are low quality. From working with felt for years, we know this for a fact. I can talk about the differences all day but unless you try a high quality felty like Benzie, you won't understand how significantly the quality effects the outcome of your felt projects. We're all about affordability, but often times "you get what you pay for" applies to crafting. We never recommend a product we don't love, especially a higher priced material like felt!
