You must hit the Ferry Building in San Francisco, go on Saturday for the farmers market, lots of food stalls and the French Roti chicken truck is there. Also get their porchetta sandwich. Go to Clement street for a mixture of many cuisines, Burma Star for Burmese food. Marin Cheese Factory in Petaluma to see French style cheeses being made, visit their tasting room, get a sandwich made and sit out by the pond and feed the ducks. North Beach for Italian food and, of course, you wouldn't want to miss Chinatown.
