I don't really like the Mayor either, but in fairness to the facts- I questioned some of the oddly-dressed petition canvassers at Lake Merritt and found that they had driven up from Los Angeles just to collect signatures to recall another city's mayor... It took a lot of questioning and they were totally evasive. Its odd no matter how anyone tries to explain it... So, I don't think Thao is wrong about the billionaire effort to oust her; but that does NOT mean she's doing a good job... Also a reminder that Thao was elected on rank-choice style voting...
