That's by design. Every social scientist is well aware of the welfare to prison pipeline. That's why they push for more and more handouts. Black people are only useful to leftists when they're helpless. The Democratic Party has a long history of exploiting black people for profit. They were the party of slavery now they're the party or welfare. They're vampires who feed on minorities and they call it "compassion".

A lot of the stuff I was talking about are LGQBT channels who speak out against grooming, I don't recall their names off the top of my head, but figure if they are going to stand with us on this the least I can do is throw them a like and a sub. As far as the whole LGQBT thing goes I really don't care what two adults do, just leave the kids alone. But this community's authority protects criminals at the direct cost of public trust and health, simply by authority neutering their law enforcement for "equity sakes" as they made this event a public spectacle to show support, all but telling criminals they are ripe for plucking again, because their authority figures refuse to change their stance on crime so they let criminals oppress their constituency directly and freely as was witnessed, which will undoubtedly happen again very soon, ergo authority itself is oppressive to the public by proxy. Weakness is displayed by leadership, criminals will jump at this opportunity for yet another cash grab so soon after they've stolen their wealth, and the community's authority will again do nothing because they refuse to give law enforcement teeth to do their job. I pity them they are in a lose-lose situation and should just move.

ᶘಠᴥಠᶅ Hey Sean, I know you’re a sharp fella, so you probably might already know of the contrasts of Oakland responses to crime. By the way, thanks for the localized attention and the good that can come from places trapped in the ideological bubble of progressivism. Your story is heartfelt and has _restored_ some hope to an area in need of an upside to the despondency about Oakland crime. This brings me to share with you another Oaklandish story of a progressive baker who was killed a few months ago and see the stark contrast of a progressive owner who’s activist belief of _restorative justice_ for her killers on her deathbed. I’m not sure people here understand that insidious problems with _Restorative Justice_ that DA Pamela Price has committed towards her office in this insane euphemistic re-imagining of fighting crime. Anyway, keep doing what you‘re doing, Peace! If they vote for it, they deserve it. Having said that, if they really want to help their community, then they need to wake up and understand their part in their own misfortune. Yes, it is important to support them when they do well, but it is equally important to chide them when they do wrong. You can't just sweep it under the rug cuz 'wholesome'. It is great, fantastic even, but that doesn't absolve them. Edit: If they _really_ want to help this business, I want to see the entire community bring those criminals to justice and demand their arrest, prosecution, and incarceration.

Sadly, the next step of "community support" is the public taking up arms against criminals as their leadership still refuse to uphold the law, these state officials still have not changed their "soft on crime" stance, allowing criminals to oppress the people freely...Which is authority oppressing constituency by proxy. I pity these people as the community believed they did a good thing here, but all they did was tell these same criminals this easy target has filled pockets again, and again, and again, up until the government stops it's degenerate and regressive "equity" laws and begins upholding the law again...Lest the community does it for them instead, which is exactly what society does not wish to do but will be pressed to do if these bad faith actors in governance continue to allow the public to be oppressed as such.

We have a huge community of artists who support and show up for one another and every time our businesses have gone through some shit, people show up for us immediately and throw money and love around. We look out for each other the best we can amidst the chaos and a lot of people are starting to wake up to the fact that they bought into lies from shitty politicians who played on their emotions and good intentions and are working to turn things around. I have hope in this community, they’ve been so good to me in helping find strength, friendship, love and God. Thank you for highlighting some of that good, Sean. Appreciate ya

I loved your take on this Sean. You’re right, it is fun to rag on the other side but it’s best to acknowledge the good in others when it’s on display.

Maybe I am a pessimist, but I fully believe this state sponsored crime is for a reason. At some point they will pass some law that will strip citizens of more rights so the state can "more effectively fight crime". Create the problem and then use it as an excuse to gring Americans under the boot has been the strategy so far.

Nice story it is. But my cynical heart thinks that of it was a white women or man being robbed this story would have never happened.

Yeah, ton of black on white crime (let alone black on black crime) gets covered up. We all remember the times children as young as 5 and below get shot, murdered, etc and no one bats an eye. You're right for being cynical.

Good people are the change in the world. We can bring light where there is darkness; hope where there is despair; love where there is hate; joy where there is sadness and good where there is evil. All these things and more, we can make the world a better place!

As they said, a broken clock is right twice a day. It’s a good change to see a community acting like a good community rather than some hell hole. Definitely a positive spin from the usual videos. Even more so when you passionately talk about it and feeling the positive tone of it.

I think that my problem with this take is that it's hard to get behind people that will do a public good deed and then turn around and tell your kids that it's ok to keep secrets from their parents if they want to be a a different gender and secretly giving them puberty blockers and hormones is a good thing

Well, some of them have that duality, but I would bet many / most don’t. Probably a silent majority that don’t vibe with that extreme, although they need to speak up. Some have, like the parents in San Francisco that ousted the school board, if I’m remembering correctly

Shaun I’m actually from the left and yes my whole life I’ve considered the right evil but I also am fed up with the stupidity on the left these days and find myself without a political party. I think you’re doing a great job of being intellectually honest on this channel. And that’s why I have subscribed and keep coming back.

That's wonderful to hear you're open to listen to the other side! As a conservative, I welcome you! The intellectual honesty, as you say, that I also see over here is refreshing in a world that's going nuts. May I also suggest a few other channels? I love listening to Russel Brand (not a conservative but he's amazingly fair and honest), James Klug (great man on the street vids), Gen (fantastic man on the street / investigative journalism), Black Conservative Perspective, TimCast and Brandon Tatum.

Sean... while I'll admit it's a nice gesture, I just can't see it as anything more than flinging money at the problem and hoping it gets better. This isn't a change in policy or ideas, it's just a community licking its wounds and hoping the predators that caused them don't come back (they will.)
