Oakland Roots: Community Driven Pro Sports

The Oakland Roots are ushering in a new way to interact with pro sports: OWNERSHIP.
Community funded and driven, the Roots (and sister team the SOUL) are FOR OAKLAND, BY OAKLAND.
This is my first Roots game, and as a partial owner, I couldn't be more excited to watch them take on the Sacramento Republic FC at Pioneer Stadium.
Let's talk about the history of the Roots and what it means for pro sports, and enjoy ourselves at a fantastic USL Championship soccer match!
