My wife is an instructor at Oakland. We were watching, at first just happy to see the team in the tournament. At various points in the game I thought "here's where Kentucky takes control," but it never happened. Amazing effort by the Grizzlies and a lifetime memory. An upset over college basketball royalty!

He was falling because of the shot selection not because he was getting touched. He probably would have got some calls if he didn’t look at the ref after every shot.

When this coach took the job in 1984 Oakland was a Division 2 School. Do you think he would have believed you if you told him he would one day beat the University of Kentucky in the NCAA D1 Tournament at the same school? Unbelievable, what a career accomplishment.
