We’re back at Mammoth shredding the slopes in the finest PRIZM lenses Oakley has to offer. Sunglass Rob and Tyler share their thoughts in our long-term review of PRIZM Rose vs. HI Pink.
Both the PRIZM Rose and HI Pink are designed for low light, even whiteout conditions. Snowy or overcast, these lenses function exceptionally well, providing both color enhancement and clarity. Other low light lenses compensate with a higher VLT, but PRIZM lenses utilize both color tuning and lower VLT to give you unparalleled optical precision on the slopes. Bottom line, PRIZM is hands down the best color tuning technology for tackling the mountains.
If you just wanted one lens to cover as many light levels as possible, the PRIZM Rose is your best bet. The VLT is slightly lower than the HI Pink so sudden shifts in lighting are manageable. But when you want the right tool for the job, get the PRIZM Hi Pink, hands down. The higher VLT and Iridium coating makes this lens the best option for whiteouts.
Don’t let whiteout days ruin your snowboarding trip. Get PRIZM. Choose between Pink and HI Pink and take advantage of those empty slopes this season!
