I love your videos. I especially like that you use fabric on the insides of your projects. It definitely adds a more fun and finished aesthetic. Keep up the good work :)

1:10 I thought people usually used the grooves on the other side to burnish the edges?
@oakmoonlifeleathercrafting43377 жыл бұрын
Yeah that's one way to do it and it works well on leather that is hard. But since the leather I am using is soft its pretty tough to keep it straight while burnishing it with the groves. I pick this technique from a much more experienced crafter and it works great with thin and soft leathers.

Do you have a pattern for a leather case that holds just one pen and has two leather laces attached to the top of the case so that a person can have the pen readily handy hanging from their neck when a signature is needed instead of using a public pen?

1:08, may I know what's this step for?
@oakmoonlifeleathercrafting43377 жыл бұрын
Its called burnishing the edge. It helps to compress the loose fibers on the edges. Give the edge a clean and smooth finish.

Hey dude. Just wanted to say your work is great! And the music compliments it perfectly. Question: what do you use to adhere fabric to the leather?
@mikedegrazia6 жыл бұрын
Notice how he never shows it and wont answer any comments....hmmm....try super 77 spray adhesive and rubber cement on the edges.
