Brilliantly presented as always. I think anyone who makes the effort to create videos like this to educate people deserves lots of credit. Some people might not be so tech savvy and this is pitched brilliantly. I know how to setup WiFi but I still found watching this worthwhile. Cheers guys.

Love you guys. The demo from John, advice from Liam and filming from Davey is again faultless. I’m watching all the back catalogue of videos and you’ve come so far. I’m waiting for Channel 4 or another TV company to offer you a series on TV explaining these builds and/or other DIY projects in your simple, easy to understand style. There’s no programme on TV demonstrating various DIY jobs.

If you have lost your cable tie John, just use a bit of the cut off wire strands or a couple twisted together to go through the cable tie housings and then twist together over the wire.

well-done Liam top series after building one I'm on to the second workshop this time, breaking ground shortly. The plastic section in the cat6 it for cross over interference in the strands.

The core in cat6 also helps limit crosstalk as the data travels down the wires.

Because it's a DIY build series, showing how much it would cost if you did it yourself, and the series shows you how to do it ... yourself! But please, tell me how much you would charge, yourself, to do your own labour?

If I built this commercially I’d be looking for more than the 20k I mention many times in the series, probably about 23 inc vat

But... Does that final price factor in the electrics which isnt a DIY job as its strictly breaking the law unless you get building control involved to self certify.
